There are thousands of people in the US getting laid off.

The whole country's economy is up sh*t creek (US).

He's attending a global climate meeting thingy.

So what does he do?

Spends God knows how much money, time, fuel etc to get this 8 tonne behemoth shipped over to the UK.

Going to a 'Climate' summit, yet shipping his car over which probably produced more pollution that Several hundred cars!!!

I am sure they were aware of the flak they would get fromt he public by doing so. but then it's not just any limo is it. It's a custom made one and if I were a president I would certianly want take the armoured limo custom built for me on my travel to a foreign land during a potential public unrest... Wouldn't you?

It's not just the limo that came over. I saw a column (at a guess, 8 or 9) armoured Police vehicles this morning on the A12. And they certainly weren't UK Police vehicles - they were American models, in black, with "POLICE" written on in white, in the style of US police vehicles. They were also vast, and clearly very, very heavily armoured.

I didn't see the numberplates, or whether they were LHD, but I can't believe they weren't American. They were also in convoy with some UK police Transit riot vans, which looked like childs toys alongside them ...
