Watching continual coverage of the hippie, greenie, lentilist, layabout, protest today. WTF!? They are tossing boards and bricks through windows, etc. What is needed is some good indiscriminate firehosing and teargassing! biggrin Followed by more surgical applications of the taser gun! Non-Lethal weapons companies are missing massive opportunities to show off their newest wares! biggrin

we're absolutely rubbish at rioting frown

I was hoping to see the police administer some serious kickings to them, but the worse it got was a gentle push with a riot shield frown

I was listening to Rush limbaugh earlier, (always good for a giggle), and boy, that man is paranoid to the extreme. All of the loonies come out for these protests... Enviromentalists, vegetarians, anti-abortion folks, Pro-abortion types, anti-3rd world debt, and so on, and so forth, and yet he comes out with his classic, "it's not about these causes, it;s all about anti-Americanism". Sheesh, he really does have a chip on his shoulder. He also got miffed because no-one was 'hating Obama". rather he is quite liked in Europe, rightly or wrongly. he can't abide that! I find it utterly refreshing that someone so paranoid, and so full of hatred and bile gets so much airtime.

How did he die, if he died in a car crash on the way home then the answer is still no.

How, when, under what circumstances? Killed by the police, or by some other means?

We don't do violent punishments anymore, we prefer the more sly punishment, like taking a persons's driving licence away, imprisoning old ladies that don't pay their council tax or sending teenage miscreants on safari with some new trainers.

Punishment fitting the crime - that's so old school......

apparently he collapsed, and the police were attempting to resusciate him while waiting for the ambulance and were pelted with bottles and other missiles while trying to save his life.

I managed to spot what appeared to be a couple of punches from an officer over his shield to a protester, can't find the video anymore. I doubt it was punches but I watched it several times and that's certainly what it looked like biggrin

Like I give a fk about these soap-dodging tts! They're all happy enough to hide behind their "human rights" in order to do what they want to do - bit of obstruction, criminal damage etc (put it this way for example - you go to your local town centre tomorrow, hang an effigy off some traffic lights and then set fire to it. See what happens to you.).

These same bearded vegan fkers then have a cry when they get the utter kicking they oh so richly deserve off the coppers. I'd love to see every one of the sts getting beaten to a pulp and then being made to clean all their mess up. I hate them, absolutely hate them. They have fk all to do with protesting - just anarchists and, in their own way, nazis - we must all do what they say!!!

Quote from the BBC site....

"By late afternoon the Climate Camp was in full swing. The tents were all safely erected, sleeping bags were out and the "farmers market" was open for ethical non-profit vegan business."

Oh how I wish I could have lit a bbq and eaten some steaks in front of the tts. Then stab them all.

The lack of violence is a result of the class system and the benefits system. Those crusties demonstrating probably have comfortable middle class backgrounds so feel no real anger, hell they can take a day off from whatever it is they do and go and paint some slogans on pavements (in washable pastel paints, mind) and play at being the revolutionary. The decent people who are losing their livelihoods, who should feel angry, cannot afford to go protest and cannot afford to risk the criminal repercussions and are too busy trying to hold onto their jobs or find new jobs. The nasty scum at the bottom of the pile, who could do some serious damage, have been placated by the benefits system and are happy to sit at home pissing it up a wall or stabbing unfortunate strangers. Politics and the economy doesn't figure in their estimations.
