And remember the rent supplements the running costs, never covers it.

yes My lottery win garage is entirely stuff built/assembled in Britain. We're churning out a lot of cars these days, there's plenty to choose from!

Maybe owned by an Indian company but the actual jobs are here in the UK.

That's the thing, the car industry, like so many things these days, is truly international. However, as mentioned above, there are a whole lot of British workers involved in getting the car onto the road, and it's them you're supporting.

It's as good as it's going to get. For the record, I'd have a couple of Morgans too, but they use BMW engines.

Probably because they're just turning left out of a junction.

They got broken into just after they went public - you'd think that might have made them realise that it would be a better idea to keep a low profile.

OK, noted. They're an Indian company that employ of a lot of British people.

"Cassey Carrington and Matt Topham, both aged 22"

Thank fking god. I'm sick of old farts winning it and saying they're going to buy a new toolbox they've been after. Glad to see that some people in their prime have won it and it'll be able to help them with the rest of their life, not just the end of their life.

That said, they're idiots for letting the press report it.

Edit: Cynic in me is saying they're not going to end up getting married. She won £45m and is now in the awkward situation of really wanting a prenup.

If it was his money he'd probably have a v12 vantage. But it's not.

It's not?

Reports claim that Mr Topham gave £1.3 million to his best friend, Eddie Smith, 22, but not any money to his estranged mother Julie, whom he has had a falling out with.

The pair have recently splashed out on new cars - a Jaguar XK 2-Door Coupe and a £28,000 Range Rover Evoque.

Until they're married I don't think he'll have any kind of legal claim to it.

They are being pretty sensible - no need to jump straight into a foreign lifestyle right away, bit by bit is just as much fun.
Good luck to them.

The beardy thing is appalling however, at least now he can buy a decent razor.

I'd have splashed out a bit more on the Evoque. £28,000 isn't that much on a car like that, must have gone for poverty spec.
