Funnily enough I started forming the opinion that there was a HUGE market for good lending which banks weren't exploiting, so I went and got the necessary licences and now lend money.
How does one do this? Are you lending out your own money?
He's got a loans business which is doing very well.

Yep, thats what I understand smile

I'd like to know how one goes about getting the requisite licences to do this and if he is lending out his own money or borrowing and then lending that out.

I'm not arguing anything with you, I'm just mocking you, as you are posting tripe. You positively invite it with the tripe you post.

Clearly a fair number of people on OH think I am wrong.

The use of the word moron seems to me to be emotive and unnecessary.
Well you would think that wouldn't you, when you're on the receiving end?

You might think that being you gives a better perception of whether it's true or not, but that's not necessarily the case, as you are on the inside. Your perception is different, not better.

Or does your bizarre argument about expertise not counting suddenly not work when it's turned back on you?

Tell me, do you honestly believe that you get to lecture a banker of decades experience, so badly, about banking, and not be met with derision?
