Haha, they seem to be creating problems we don’t have (or are not fundamental issues) this must be on another thread?

Back to biz, EU gone, back to trading at a similar tariff than we were paying to be a member with similar benefits, oh and believe it or these services they restricted on when leaving, they actually need… and we can now take ROW best talent for jobs rather than just EU.

Trading at increased numbers and greater growth than the eurozone. Less reliant on far east imports, more focused on manufacturing.

Anyway as with ‘m’ on here if your in London, let’s have a beer, no issues with different views thumbup things affect people/companies differently.
I think I'll wait for the numbers to back up this fluff piece.

I didn't even quote him. But good to know Brexiteer pound prostitutes are not to be trusted. There seem to be a good few of them?
IMO, the remain team did not put out there best ‘11’ it was a foregone conclusion that it would be a remain result, I may have the white paper somewhere that was printed by the government for the remain result.

Leave were better drilled, better on camera and more importantly better in person, and much less funded.

The remain press/tv was laissez faire in assuming they would win.

The underrepresented communities (like Millibands) turned out in their droves to vote.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/politics/eu_referendum/...

As did mine..

Anyway, investment is up, more making things, more supply chain more jobs.

So now the failure of brexit is down to the drafters of the Lisbon treaty who did not come up with a plan as to how the UK should leave!

Art 50 was drafted to give the country looking to leave 2 years to reach an agreement on the terms. I guess those who drafted it assumed if you wanted to leave you would know how the EU works and have come up with a plan for leaving. I guess they never expected our great brexiters to have no idea how the EU worked and no plan.
Brexit hasn't failed. I got what I wanted.

As for the rest, takes two to tango. But perhaps ask one T.May about plans, with that other arch Brexiter Robbins.

I wouldn't have gone about it the way they did. But the die was pretty well cast when Cameron came back from his negotiations.

However, we've been over alllllllllll of this many times. And still nothing changes. Arrogance lost the vote.

Are they a reliable source now? I seem to be remembering ONS being thrown under the bus when they dont give the data people want?

Also, why does he need to keep quoting other sources and posting them via thimbsnap when he could go to the ONS itself?

The old addage that figures don't lie, but liars figure comes to mind.

I’m aware of the links

https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/uk-trade-...

The screen shots are from reliable sources.. & I leave the ONS or UK treasury watermarks in view.

So, 'I'm alright Jack', then.

Brexit has failed. I didn't get what I wanted (and was promised) and I lost my business and chunk of pension as a result.

It's so that it's more difficult to see context, and what's truly being represented. Some posters are noted fir it, and their "supporting evidence" invariably is shown to be bunkum.

Mine and my wife’s business have really suffered when exporting, simply not worth it

I’m sure some U.K. business must be benefitting but it will be interesting to know if it’s an overall improvement or loss

One of my favourite brexit tales is a few of the wealthy fellas I goto Le Mans with (who voted for brexit) who are now moaning about all things brexit related that are ruining the enjoyment of their holiday homes in Europe

The party's over for wealthy retirees wanting to go to Spain as well. Here's the Express, moaning about the exact thing it told everyone to vote for in 2016:

Ready to prove you've got £5,432 in cash so they'll let you in for your 2 week holiday (family of 4)?

"All the benefits of membership and none of the costs", that was how it was sold before the referendum. Liars.

Erm who said that? No one plugged that there would be any EU membership benefits after we left that I recall?

More evidence of how gullible those on the remain side are.

Here's a hint, it's a clickbait article for the stupid, and you have just proved you are their target audience.

OK genius, you show me where the Spanish government has said their law has changed and this check is no longer something which their border officials can perform.

You tell me if the possibility of having to jump through this hoop is an improvement on the pre-Brexit arrangements for British citizens. After all, Brexit is golden, right? All upside, no downside (copyright David Davis MP)?

Well that's how I recall it, we were told that they needed us more than we needed them, therefore if we vote to leave they will be desperate to give us whatever we want, i.e. we'll be offered all the benefits of membership but won't have to pay into the EU budget any more - gravy gravy gravy.

And 4 countries that are not in the EU.......

Conflating the Schengen with the EU is just lazy and ignorant.

Thank you for proving that you are one of the gullibly stupid. Even those who voted the same way you did cannot defend the current rubbish you are posting biggrin
