Book to sell? Lovin' reunion on the front page of one of those despicable "tat" mags? I would think that an aroused and well-built woman such as Nigella would have no problem trundling over and through the 70 year old Saatchi in the best tradition of William Perry, probably taking the table and crockery on the way. And then she could sit on him.

So there we have it. Plain as day. Couldn't be clearer. A playful tiff. Emphasising a point via repeated neck grabs, as you do. Any doubters must be crazy. This will definitely put an end to any remaining anti-Saatchi sentiment.
Quite right. Who hasn't grabbed their OH by the neck during a playful chat whilst trying to emphasis a point.......

If that's the best excuse all his money can buy, I hope he will be jailed shortly.

Really disturbing pictures, it's domestic violence full stop.

Some completely out of order comments in this thread, and actually I genuinely think some people in here see nothing wrong with it.

  • A Female victim of domestic violence will on average suffer 40 physical assaults before she tells anyone about it, let along the police.
That is a worrying number, far higher than I would have guessed.

I thought that this topic would bring out the worst of Pistonheads, and it has in some quarters. It's why I've stayed away until now.

  • I've had people convicted of assault without a statement from the victim given far less evidence than I've seen in the published press today.
Saatchi is clearly a dinosaur, and a controlling one at that. I think it's time it was demonstrated where behavior like that gets you, and that as a society we deem it fit only for history books.
I don't disagree with your statements, but can I ask for a source for your data?

Any truth in the rumours Saatchi has signed up to be a presenter of Art Attack?

When a women stabs and kills a man its often trotted out that she suffered years of emotional abuse (as mitigation).

When a man grabs a women there is no excuse.

Don't you just love sexual equality.

Society may see it like this but the law doesn't.

She can make a complaint if she wishes. If she wants to stay where she is that's up to her. I don't see what the fuss is about.

Seriously?

Where do you draw the line? Does he have to punch her a few times?

Of course. There are no kids involved after all. He holds no significant levers over her, financial or otherwise. She can, of curse, "just complain"...

Numbers of men stabbed by women vs number of women "grabbed" by men?
I think you need parity in your numbers before you start talking about equality.
I'm struggling to understand your point.

It seems you are saying its ok to stab men so long as more women are abused by men.

Both forms of abuse are wrong.
