I demand that Richard Dawkins immediately reject and denounce this man's actions and that all atheists everywhere apologise and condemn his beliefs. Where are the so-called moderate atheist voices?
You appear to be a little confused.

That would work if atheists were On A Mission, rather than being merely indifferent.
Seems this guy was anything but indifferent...

Good grief, he must have been trained in an atheist terrorist camp.

Why? He's one of the finest evolutionary biologists in the world, but what does this have to do with him?
Because the murderer was an atheist and Richard Dawkins is like the Atheist Pope.

Just like the Charlie killers speak for all Muslims, Craig Stephen Hicks speaks for everyone that doesn't believe in religion.

If Craig Stephen Hicks had killed in response to perceived offense caused by drawings of Richard Dawkins or some Atheist "idol" you may have a point - but this doesn't appear to be the case.

Have you actually read that Yahoo 'article'?

It claims that he has a facebook page full of rants, then presents what it presumably deems the most 'ranty' of them. Only they don't really appear to be rants at all.

The bloke is clearly unhinged and has done something truly appalling to 3 innocent people but the background being dredged up looks like a complete non-story to me.

You're right, it has everything to do with Atheism!

I wonder if he maybe had more of a traditional upbringing and still went to Church regularly if he would have carried out such a heinous crime... He obviously has no good religious values. Such a shame. This atheism is a curse which must be stamped out! Just think of all the other crimes carried out by atheists which go unreported. If these people were afraid of what happened to them after death - maybe there would be less crimes committed by atheists?

(see what I did there...)
Isn't it you that claims to be a doctor ? If that's the case, I find you reasoning quite shockingly simple for what should be an educated man.
Who's meant to ask for a parrot? Relax there buddy, a lot of posts on here made up by some on here sound equally as stupid.

(It's sarcasm)

No he's not. His field of work lead him into conflict with a pack of fking mentalists in the States that think him and Charles Darwin are demons sent to test their faith.

Wait, what?

Are we talking about the same guy here? Richard Dawkins, author of The God Delusion who wrote an article on a "call to arms for militant atheism"?

Do you condemn this murder or do you not? It's a simple question. I really have no qualms about letting people like you stay in my country, but you need to be seen to be to condemn atrocities when it does appear to happen in the name of your non-religion.

Where are the marches from atheists holding NOT IN MY NAME placards?

These atheist communities are doing nothing to shop their fellow atheists plotting against us. They claim to be moderate atheists but secretly they support Craig Stephen Hicks. I read that 27% of atheists want Muslims castrated to stop them breeding. Disgusting.

What I'm wondering is are atheists actually emotionally and logically compromised?
From experience on here, many atheists are very quick to reach the wrong or a negative conclusion about an opposing poster, insist their questions are answered but never answer questions posed to them and have this funny tendency to think that science must rule the world. Have we got a particularly odd sample on here or is the identification with atheism actually a general sign of mental malaise?
Just a question.

They are always trying to convert non-non-believers and pushing for Scientific Law.

They live in a Christian country and yet they refuse to integrate. Maybe they should go back to their own labs?

Don't get me wrong, they have a point. It's just that this is a crap way to make it.

Sometimes the only way to make a point for some people is to turn the tables, it's the only thing they can understand.

Perhaps we should start a new thread? The context of the case linked to by the OP doesn't warrant this squabbling. I think point proved, let's take it up elsewhere?
