So the 100% consensus by all of the 'experts' that no-one would form a majority government. Hmmm, now that sort of use of statistics rings a bell.
From what I've been told, the telephone pollsters are outnumbered by online panels. The telephone people were getting a more consistent three or four point Conservative lead and sometimes bigger but adjusted their raw data before release in line with the 'consensus' provided by online polls which were more in favour of Labour. It turns out that the unadjusted telephone poll raw data was close to being accurate. Which all seems eerily familiar in the context of this thread and the politics of climate change belief when people are presented with raw data well out of alignment with the prevailing faith and so-called consensus.turbobloke said:

Or the bookmakers were playing some interesting games with the punters.
Was there a sudden surge of support for "anyone except Minigland" in the last 2 hours of voting?

The Guardian, bless them, have just discovered STOR. How long has Brooker been going on about this? Although to be fair back then diesel fumes were still on a par with unicorn farts.

The earliest article I can find is 2 years ago, so the Grauniad is quite late to this party.http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2015/may/06...

P,s the classic for me, was an article in the Grauniads environmental section, bleating on about the evils of global aviation, whilst right next to it in their `travel' section, was an article exhorting Grauniad readers to fly to Hong Kong to `try the meatballs' in a floating restaurant in Hong Kong harbour, or fly to Mexico to `experience the street markets, and street carnivals.
When I pointed this out to them, they banned me! Absolutely made my day!

Welcome to the club! I suspect a lot of contributors to this thread are permanently locked out, with posts deleted. Purely for making valid points calmly and rationally. The 'liberal left' just love free speech so much.
i would imagine a fairly big meet could be organised solely for ph,ers meeting that sole criteria LastLight said:
