I'm not even sure the utter kicking they look likely to get is about perceived left or right policies so much as scumbag behaviour.

Tice comes across as pretty scummy. Would be entertaining to see him get bit more scrutiny if Reform do well

Perhaps but I meant snuffy and Bad Company's comments on the Conservatives rather than Tice.

Though I must admit threatening to expose personal information on an MP on Twitter is ballsy.

Maybe they could agree to host a beat group festival along these lines

https://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/news/far-right-...

The owner of a Blackpool club due to host a two-day neo-Nazi gig in Blackpool says he is “let down” by its cancellation following an investigation by campaigners, writes Antonia Charlesworth Stack.

The event dubbed the Real Rebellion was due to be held on 2-3 August, to coincide with the non-political Rebellion Festival, but was cancelled by its organiser this month after campaign group Hope Not Hate reported on it

To be fair, the other parties usually fail to deliver on much easier promises yet suddenly remember to promise the same before the next GE.

Most of the other parties start with achievable objectives, not dog whistling nonsense that can never become reality.

Also the current government can't accomplish its aims (which is one of the many reasons they need to go) but that is not true for all governments.

And that is why any manifesto is not worth a monkey's toss.

"We are going to do these wonderful things if you elect us"

"Ok, you have now been elected, Crack on".

"Ahh, well, when we said what we'd do, we didn't actually mean we'd do them. And since we are not legal bound to do anything we said, you can fk off anyway".

As I said much earlier in the thread I’ve been a lifelong conservative voter and former member. For me the current leadership wasted a fortune on the pandemic & furlough and generally mis managed our economy resulting in very high taxes. Our armed forces & police are looking very weak and the NHS is in my opinion past its sell by date. Also despite numerous promises the illegal immigrants are crossing the channel in increasing numbers.

The alternative Labour Party have already indicated that they’ll bow to union pressure to increase workers rights and historically they’re likely to increase taxes even more.

I wouldn’t want to see Reform elected and they may not even win a seat but I see no other party to vote for.

Ok, I'm calling it! In a few months you'll claim your support of the Tories was meant ironically and you're amazed no-one realised...

Easy to make pledges when you have no chance of getting in power and 'low hanging fruit' will vote for you

What’s wrong with improving workers rights?

I swear some look back on Victorian times and go “yep, that’s the way to do things”

Indeed - easy to promise stuff you never need to deliver. Rather like the ‘we will stop the boats!’ But they never explain how. Or their tax and spend plans which are apparently predicated on instantly finding £150billion from ‘savings’ and getting rid of woke… so that’s all fine then.
