Regardless of how many times this view is put forward, there is no requirement to comment on all conflict's wrongs in order to have an opinion on actions in this conflict.
Under normal circumstances I would agree completely. But it's suspicious when certain posters ONLY ever comment on this conflict and even refuse to be drawn to make any comment on loss of life elsewhere. No doubt you'll have your reasons, just as I can feel justified in reaching the conclusions I do about it. Still not a relevent. As you know.

Can you point me to your comments on the losses of life in Yemen and elsewhere? They don't have to be in the Israeli/Gaza thread, but I assume you've made your concerns about this other loss of life very clear elsewhere? Still not a relevent. As you know.

He's desperate, so it is relevant...
Not desperate at all. Just utterly bemused by your transparency. You think Hamas has been a good thing for Palestinians (you said it). You don't post with anything like the frequency you do on here on any other thread, and you NEVER post anywhere about the other loss of life in the region. But apparently I'm the desperate one..

Of course you are desperate you're an apologist for the Israeli's murders and all the other atrocities they've carried out both now and prior to Oct 7, a blind man can see that looking at any of your posts. The desperation is visible for all to see, just one example, implying I'm a Hamas supporter rather than Palestinian supporter, now that charge against me truly is desperation on your part and a deliberate lie. Honestly, you should be ashamed of yourself. In actual fact really, I shouldn't even be conversing with you, not that I would drop to your standard but I don't want to be associated with the likes of you, even on the internet. So, on that note the time has come to ignore you and you're Israeli apologist fBut apparently I'm the desperate one..

Now, no doubt you'll retort to this post as you can't help yourself but, remember I actually know right from wrong unlike you.
Then again since you're so pro Israeli/Zionist being wrong doesn't matter...

ked up mentality. Actually, you're pathetic. Off with you, hide in the corner of shame where you belong, do everybody a favour.

It's always the same with folk like you. Start probing a bit and you'll respond with ignoring the questions or by posting non answers. Then, when that fails to stop the simple questions it's time to try the insults, then when you're up against the wall its a stomp and a flounce. ![](/inc/images/censored.gif)

It's so clear that you just aren't being honest, but your posting history is absolutely there for all to see. You can flounce but you cannot hide.

More than 70% of Israelites support the IDF methods and more than 70% of Palestinians support Hamas idéologies... Endless conflict.
If those numbers are correct then its hugely disappointing. We have to hope that there is a sensible silent majority on both sides that will prevail. Maybe the elections will show some light in Israel. Not sure how we're going to get a new voice for Palestinians though. (or who it might be)

After the events of October 7th it is hardly surprising that most Israelis support a campaign to remove Hamas and likely realise this will involve heavy fighting and a good deal of destruction and collateral damage. Maybe the elections will show some light in Israel. Not sure how we're going to get a new voice for Palestinians though. (or who it might be)
I don't find that surprising and I think most populations would react in the same way to such events.

However, in the context of the history of the region, you'd hope that some sensible people would start to rein in the Israeli settlers and their own Government to stop enabling the provocation that those actions provide to enable Hamas (and previous/future terrorist organisations) to recruit young/any Palestinians.

And who is disappointed? The two parties in this conflict are each committed to eradicating the other. Neither wants to stop until they've killed as many of the other side as possible.
Who are you to be disappointed by the choices they've made?

Fair points all. I suppose I'm just disappointed that the innocents on all sides will continue to suffer. One day there has to be peace. I'd rather get to that day asap. And who is disappointed?
