If only I was in charge of the benefits system.
9am monday down the office: ring ring.
dole scum: 'yea, what is is mate, I aint got no money in my bank in it'
me: Well have you done any work in the last two weeks sir?
DS: 'na mate, me aint done nufink bro'
me: well there's you fking problem then you lazy fking tt.
In fact the best answer would be to use the benefits money to pay for child care between true working hours, say 0700 to 1800, or earlier/later if needs be. That way the 'parents' would have no excuse not to go to work as the kids would be looked after and fed. And if they didn't bother then who cares what happens to them.
I would gladly pay more taxes just to see the great unwashed stood at a bus stop in the dark in January heading off to put nuts and bolts in a cardboard box all day for £6.
Id bet money youre ignorant enough to believe this would fix the problem? Another brain-dead mouthbreathing tt. 9am monday down the office: ring ring.

Regurgitating a tired old Daily Mail scenario is the best effort at a 'solution' you have? Thats it is it?
An exemplary simpleton and grade A tool combined is a rare thing, I genuinely pity those that have to be around you.
I applaud you for 1 thing.
Your imbicillic response means I need to readjust my understanding of what an "ignorant idiot" is,
you've shown me a whole new level of stupidity that I never even knew existed.
Bravo
Do you not understand that the money these cretins get come directly out of the working persons wages. You do understand that if everyone stopped working and went on benefits then the system would be bankrupt overnight. There is no magic money tree you tt.
People are unemployed because they are unemployable, and I dont give two fks if they freeze to death because they have no money.
Its so simple, stop the benefits and use the money to build factories that make things like televisions or cars or whatever, the options are endless. Then get the feckless working for their money.
I would imagine most of the working population feel like this fella below, and yes he would make a good Daily Mail reporter.

Probably not quite safe for work but it should be watched by every worker.
One again fk you dhead.

I don't know of anyone with children who can afford to do this.
So either they earn a lot more than the sort of money this girl could get, or they rely on family for childcare. If you work and pay taxes it can be _very_ difficult to make ends meet because lots of benefits are unavailable.
This woman has it made, many have to go to work and still fail to get any money put aside for presents.
What's worse is that the struggling classes pay tax which goes to fund worry free and work free lifestyles like this...

one of the problems that successive govts have failed to get to grips with (or possibly encouraged, depending on your view) is the ever increasing rise of in-work benefitsIf you work and pay taxes it can be _very_ difficult to make ends meet because lots of benefits are unavailable.

the woman referred to in the OP gets
Child Tax Credit - you can't claim this if you work but you can claim Working Tax Credit, which is essentially the same thing
Child Benefit - you can claim this if you work
Housing Benefit - you can claim this if you work
Council Tax Benefit - you can claim for this if you work
Single Parent Benefit - not sure what this is. I think they might mean Income Support. In that case you can's claim thast if you work as it is the equivalent of JSA.
Vouchers for free milk and fruit - I dont think you can't claim for these if you are working, but they are only for under-4 year olds anyway.

Wow, even by Pistonheads levels that is quite jaw droppingly moronic. I hope you never find yourself made redundant........Its so simple, stop the benefits and use the money to build factories that make things like televisions or cars or whatever, the options are endless. You are so wrong. People like her are unemployed because they have so much money they don't need to work. Its so simple, stop the benefits and use the money to build factories that make things like televisions or cars or whatever, the options are endless. Then get the feckless working for their money.
Which brings your second point into play perfectly timed. Stop the benefits, and you'll be surprised how quickly the unemployable will find work.

Increasingly unlikely as we start to let in millions of unskilled workers from the EU.There is no polite response to what this women and those like her are doing. Quite frankly I'd like to see the benefits system done away with completely, except for very special cases or else having stronger pre-requisites. (every year of working you get entitled to a fortnight unemployment benefit if you lose a job etc)
Plenty of countries around the world have no benefit systems but they do not seem to have people dying all over the place so I really need to question whether it is needed.

My father in law has never worked in the entire time I've known him (25+ years). He lives in a reasonable 3 bed place, 2 streets from me, has a new car every few years (motability), and never seems short of money (has a flat screen, sky, mobile phone etc).
Something is very wrong with the way benefits work.
And stting himself about the disabled allowance reforms presumably? Something is very wrong with the way benefits work.

That's all very lovely, but you forget one inconvenient fact: We KNOW people who do this.
Do you though? Really? Single mums on benefits out every weekend and spending £2.5k on their kids at Christmas?I doubt it.
'Single' mum with one child with a 16 hour a week job. Total income amounts to £2000 of which around £500 was earnt wages.
Until we enforce sterilisation, these cock suckers will continue to breed at our expense.
