The last thing China wants to see is a unified Korea under southern rule. It's what they invaded in 1950 to stop.

So they're happy to keep Kim's concentration camp going and their border guards chipping in by shooting wannabe escapees if they can.
China's priorities have changed rather in 66 years

There is no significant interest or appetite in South Korea for unification any more. No one under 60 in South Korea has any meaningful connection to the North, they are no more 'one people' than the British and the Irish.

The British and the Irish are a heck of a lot closer. Being able to travel between the two countries makes a big difference.

Closer by distance maybe, but it's the time travel that's the bugger.

Be aware, there are probably spying on you if you go to this web site, think they have developed a telescope that can look down the wires.

Takes ages to load, must be the telescope in the way.

Errr, no thanks...

I don't want a bunch of manic Norks breaking my door down in the middle of the night and sending me back in a crate to feed Kimmy baby's hungry pit bulls.

Agreed. The poo-pooing of NK's actions/statements is going to come home to roost one day.

The whole nation, as well as the young kids being taught in schools that America and Japan are it's sworn enemies, is routinely brainwashed and pumped up to a state of war readiness by state media.

I'm not saying he's about to attack Japan, but they are so paranoid the smallest thing could kick off a major conflict with these idiots, and as more time passes, the more likely he is to knee-jerk respond with a nuke.
