20mph speed limits to be imposed to protect cyclists

In the cycling in London thread, 'a conclusion' was that advance stop lines encourage cyclists that think they know what theyre doing to squeeze through traffic to get there.
There's another group of cyclists who know what theyre doing who hold station in traffic, moving when it moves, or let it pass.
The third group dont really know what theyre doing, see the first group and try to do the same and not only at advance stop lines
Surely 20mph limits will only make behaviour less predictable

Traffic is there to be hacked through, if worth doing so, surely? When I'm in my car and I come across slow traffic, I pass it when I can. Is anyone here saying they don't?

The limit thing is ridiculous though, a stupid idea to be seen to be doing something.

Oi queuing isnt bad. Its good It's taken thousands of years to develop and means you know with certainty that when its your turn its your turn. Without it you get a fracas as everyone tries to rush to the front but doesnt quite get there and you all have to do it because if you hold back you'll never get a turn = mayhem.
Here's the quiet guy on a bike from another thread patiently queuing
The camera guy has weaved in and out of traffic before catching that image.

The cyclist has followed other cyclists in front who may think they know what they're doing, but this one may not. Is one type of cyclist misleading others?
You can see afterwards the cyclist turns right while the truck indicates and turns left, both luckily this time coming to no harm.

Queuing is the bedrock of British civilisation, without queuing we are no better than monkeys. Or Frenchmen. That said IMO its perfectly acceptable for cyclists to filter to the front of a queue. What isn't acceptable is when these fluorescent fvckwits then sit in front of the lead car to deliberately block the rest of the queue for absolutely no reason other than to assert their 'right' to use the road. 20 zones are often 30mph limit where you're expected to do less than 20 due to various things across the road20 limits are 20mph
