From the article;"The researchers found the colder temperatures allowed more multi-year ice to persist north-west of Greenland because there were simply fewer days when it could melt. "
- so colder temps reduce the number of days? Or is it even simpler - when colder less melty-melty?
Wish I'd paid more attention in physics now...

I understand their agenda now, they want to stop overpopulating the Earth

The BBC article is ridiculous for all the non-fact based propaganda insertions, you wouldn't believe they were commenting on the same report as more neutral outlets.
Arctic ice seems to have stopped declining about 2006 if you ask me, and been pretty stable since.

Climate change is still bottom of the world survey, still doesn't stop them putting it first!

Genuine question. What do people think it will take for people to wake up to the fact that they've been hoodwinked by this nonsense?
Probably a hundred years or so. It's only now that people are questioning religion (Islam, Catholicism etc) and realising it is a load of crap designed to control. We've had about twenty years of brainwashing through mass media with everyone from government, to education to the media telling us we are going to fry to death. It'll take a long time for people to accept they've believed a bag of lies.

Informed sections of the entire UK want their green taxes back, at least for the last ~19 years then the rest in due course, but that's not quite the same thing
Back in the day, it was quite common to hear people lamenting on their loss of wages to tax , to comment: "They would tax the air we breathe if they could" .Well, now they do, its/they are called "Environment taxes" . The backbone and cause celebre of those "environment taxes" ? The great man made global warming lie.
Heres the proof of that lie : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_First_Global_Rev...
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Really really annoying when stars and celebrities allow them selves to be hood winked into supporting a cause, without checking as whether it’s complete b******s or not. Don’t they have any advisors with a brain between their ears ? Maybe he should stick to ads with the irritating meercats instead.
