Oh dear

His tax return has missed off £40k of income!!!!
That is tax evasion - it's no good saying oops I forgot this is tax evasion.
It was his pay for being leader of the opposition. Wouldn't like to try and prove Corbyn was a leader in court, so he'll probably get away with it!

So far of he two he has shared 100% tax evasion.

Oddly the tories who have published their tax returns have no such errors. However they do have lots more income so its envy labour are using instead of legality and yet their supporters simply lap it up

Didn't he publish it last year (late I think) as that was picked apart due to the errors as well?

Lsst years was late, and didn't declare all his income. This was at the same time as labour were trying to attack David Cameron for having an offshore investment....which was declared and full UK taxes paid.

Corbyn is an utter clown.

To be fair he may not have taken the pay rise. We need to know if he actually taken it before we now if he's a crook.

Why he isn't suspended for this and the last one is puzzling.

[labour spokesperson] this years tax return may not include all the income, but he should be congratulated for not having any income this year from iranian state TV nor Al-Jazera. Plus its very hard to get the tax return right due to Tory cuts [/labour spokesperson]

McDonnell was saying on Marr that he was going to clamp down on those that evade tax. Will suspect no.1 please step forward.

Caught a bit of Sophy Ridge this morning (stop it!)

Hillary Benn was on. I don't agree with him on a few things. But my god, he's a shadow PM in waiting! Talks eloquently, sounds sensible, and like Corby has been in Labour since a boy. Obviously his father sculpted him in his own image, which is no bad thing. Even if again, I don't agree with everything he said.

I mean on the surface it's a minor issue (except as far as HMRC are concerned) but it's what it represents. This is a man who is potentially one election away from leading the country.

He fked last years return and it seems he has fked this years as well. So he hasn't learnt from previous mistakes and cannot be trusted to sign off his own finances, let alone those of a country!

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by a metric fk tonne of stupidity.

The BBC said:
A Labour source said they were unable to provide any details about why Mr Corbyn's leader's salary was missing from the return.
If he hadn't taken it, through forgetting to claim it or some other incompetence, I suspect that an explanation of solidarity with the workers would've been out of the mouth of a Labour source like a whippet.

Presumably we'll get to call him a crook tomorrow.

Especially since he wants to be First Lord of the Treasury smile.

I wouldn't have him as PM, but he's the Leader of the Opposition this country desperately needs.

Apparently the extra payment for being Leader is lumped in with the Pensions line ?
Surely the P60 amount should reflect what's in salary, unless Parliament do things a different way..

Is this father of whom you speak the very same one who set up an elaborate tax reduction scheme on his estate? That avid left-wing fire brand of old who was ever concerned with inequality and wealth distribution?

I wonder if there are two P60s - otherwise it wouldn't be possible to show separately

It looks like MP salary and Ministerial/LOO pay are each reported on additional pages to the tax return, so maybe whoever amalgamated the details did it wrong. Storm in a teacup, I guess, unless the amounts were presented like that to give the view he 'only' had an MPs salary plus a pension ..

I'm slightly confused due to a lack of knowledge.

I thought that MPs were self-employed, yet Jezza said that he paid his tax at source.
