They should fast track the trial of the other scum arrested at the same time so the truth can come out and shut this father up. He seems to ignore that he had a gun, even a father should see that.

We need to publish the report exonerate the police officers and start to take back control of the streets around Bradford. If just half of the tales on here are true of how out of control it is, then we should be worried for the future for all law abiding citizens.

Crikey, sounds like a fox news channel. You should watch less fox.

Yassar Yaqub vigil will cause 'zero disruption' say family

"Mr Yaqub said the family had bought up all the best flowers from supermarkets in Huddersfield and would also be releasing helium-filled balloons." biglaugh

Deluded dad says:

"There would be a minute’s silence not just for Yassar but “all those who have lost their lives to injustice.”

“West Yorkshire Police owe me my son. How they will repay that debt is up to them.”

Did many people turn up then, as article is from yesterday? Was it windy and raining.

This was the best crowd shot they could come up with.

“Bearing in mind the weather I am quite pleased with the turn out tonight” said deluded dad

As a comment mentions, what's the point in releasing balloons in the dark?

Well, that's the morning taken care of.

In the afternoon I want you to sort out the Middle East and find a cure for cancer.

The father is thoroughly deluded. How on earth does he square a son who was apparently the salt of the earth with the tt carrying a gun?

Not sure the streets of bradford need taking back? It’s not a war zone, it’s a run down city. People seem to have this idea that it’s worse than Syria and any white face gets shot if seen out! It’s just a normal urban dump, likenplenty of other Normal urban dumps.

For those getting upset about the gathering on the motorway, it’s not on a motorway, it’s below the motorway, at the side of a dual carriage way, with a pavement.

Dads gobbing off a bit but he’s bound to be upset, his son died. It’s easier to blame others than accept your own families flaws, and if he knew he son was a drug dealing, gun carrying wannabe gangster that reflects badly on him and shines a light on his business practice. Denial is easier.

Now let’s have 50 pages of argument with no facts or relevant info!

What a sad state of affairs when winorities can't even drive around with a loaded gun whilst dealing drugs without getting hassled by the police

We see the same, repeatedly. The parents and relatives of one of the blokes killed in the fatal RTA in Birmingham before Christmas were all bemoaning the fact the media were referring to him as a criminal or drug dealer when, in fact, that's exactly what he is and would still be inside for the offence, were he serving his full sentence.

As you say. Utterly deluded. The same will apply to the lads killed in the car in Leeds too; there will be no shortage of friends and family singing praises, either blind to or in utter denial of the chronic, underlying criminal activity.

I have no sympathy at all for someone carrying a gun illegally. I do have more sympathy for the Leeds and Birmingham incidents/victims. Some of those people are probably innocent.

When I drove past at 5.15pm on my way home, there were two people stood there and a Radio Leeds van on the bridge above.

Agreed, but at least one of those in that Audi S3 Brum was driving and complicit in the offence when it killed three innocent people on the taxi plus, potentially 'innocent' (we don't know the circumstances) passengers in their own vehicle.

Yes agreed. But without belittling the gravity of what the drivers of the Leeds and Birmingham cars did, I'd bet on them not setting out wanting it to end the way it did. We all drive like tits at times and generally get away with it. But someone carrying a gun (which has no purpose other than to terrorise, wound or kill) is very different in my view.

Was it a real gun or a fake gun?

Not that having a fake gun should stop you getting shot if you start waving it around at people, I'm just wondering if it was real or fake.

Taking back control of the streets is easy. It needs manpower, determination to actually do that, with a plan and cut out political interference that stops willing officer do their job.

Too many further up are so afraid of negative publicity that they are almost paralyzed.

More than a mornings work but when Robocop in the Northeast set about zero tolerance he seem to make a difference.
