Hardly. Not many have gotten hold of it yet. A quick google on Iran blocks EU oil gives a lot of showings for the ban that the EU plan to have.
It seems many don't think it's that important.biggrin

So the Iranians gets blamed for the fall of the Euro, and the West does a 'Lybia' on Iran.

Pure genius!

That Iranian sponsored PressTV is now off air on Sky, it was 515. Seems Ofcom revoked its license a few weeks back. It was full of a lot of twaddle though.

I believe the Saudis have agreed to meet some of the shortfall when Iran is banned from exporting to the west so an early iranian move will not have the catosphic impact some on this thread are claiming.

Saudi Arabia officially has spare capacity of 2.5 m barrels a day. By contrast the EU as a whole imports 865,000 barrels a day from Iran.

I haven't been following. Is this still over the nuclear weapons have they/haven't they thing? Can't we just let Israel bomb the st out of them when the time comes, they are going to do it anyway.
What's this 'let Israel...' nonesense? Israel have been postering and threatening for over ten years to 'do something' about Iran but won't do anything on their own incase Iran hits them back.
"Hits them back"? Really? That would be a bhslap of the month on Iran. Silly goose.

I get the impression it did it on purpose, Press TV that is, playing the martyr, look at us getting picked on boo hoo. I would not trust them to tell me water is wet.

Lmao.

'Yeah, Iran. We're going to eventually do an oil embargo against you. We're going to do it really slowly so that while we still stop buying oil from you eventually and screw you over a bit, we don't fk up our own economy.'

'LOLNO. fk you, you're cut off.'

I wouldn't blame Iran one bit if they decided to just cut off oil from us. We're all big bullies, imo.

Well when you look at the history of Iran, it's not difficult to see why they get a bit tetchy about the West telling them how to do thingsbiggrin

Iran won't let an Israeli strike go unanswered which is what the Israeli officials said in an interview to the British press on Friday, the example they used was the retelling of a conversation between an Israeli minister and his Indian counterpart regarding the Mumbia attack and why India didn't take action against Pakistan. The Israeli government, Mossad and IDF do not seem to think that a millitary conflict/war with Iran will be as one sided as "people on the internet" seem to think.
Of course that is what they would say. one always plays down expectations before a fight. Yes, it would be mostly one sided IMHO.

A bit O/T but I see that a fellow there decided to convert to Chritianity and become a pastor. He was locked up and, this morning's report stated, the Supreme leader amd company have decided that he either publicly denounce his faith or be executed. Wonderful bunch of folks those Iranian leaders.

Gets us off the hook doesn't it. Much to the annoyance of the Frogs who are desperately trying to blame us for their woes. biggrin

Interestingly, southern Italy is already running put of fuel because of recent strikes over the concept of having to do some work, pay some tax and not being bribed by Berlusconi to vote for him any longer.

As such, they might be particularly vulnerable to a blip in supply as well.

They were doing so well but they made two mistakes.

First, they taught us to count.

Second, they went all imaginary friendy.

Wasn't it a lot to do with them showing an "interview" with a guy who was actually under duress and had been tortured?
