Quite.

Can't we send Argentina Morrissey in lieu of the Falklands?

Me.

Go f**k yourself.

It's nowhere near the UK and Argentina is by far the nearest landmass. It's just an excuse for a load of bullsh*t posturing from both sides. We couldn't defend it anyway and even if we could it wouldn't be worth losing anyone's life over.
Ignoramous.

No, a genuine typo. Now, put those crayons away, and remember, never run with scissors.

Morrissey is, of course, quite right. When Argentina used to own the Falklands and many Argentinians lived there...... Oh, hang on..... Argentina have never set foot on the place. Ever. Must be theirs. Seems only fair.

On that basis we should go for Scotland.

I agree. If argentina dont attack that won't happen so there is no problem is there.

Ah going for irony then.

I'm thinking the allusions to crayons and running with scissors are an attempt at an age related put-down;why it's considered immature to want to preserve life

in favour of letting some God forsaken lump of rock go is beyond me.Still, nowt as queer as folk.

Music lovers all over the world have been calling for this for the past 25 years.

Dismal, atonal, washed-up gob-ste tw@t.

As for goldblum, I've scraped things off the sole of my shoe which engender more respect than you do.

Don't, please, hesitate to crawl off to some miserable dank hollow, there to fester in your own rank miasma, you utterly despicable piece of trolling excrement.

Don't think you'd find many disagreeing with the first part.

The second part - it's not about the lumps of rock, it's more about the right of the humans who eke out a living on the rocks. They have determined that they wish to be British. When they change their minds, I'd be fine with the democratic process handing over the islands to the bloody French - if that's what they want.

Sadly, some things boil down to violence - what are your views on Gulf War 1?

So know nothing idiots should shut the fk up about it and leave it to the islanders to decide, right ?

I was taught we took it from the Frogs, not the Argies, so Goldbum can go and fk his/her self.

As long as The Islanders want to be British, we should defend it ..... and any oil rights that come with it.

Nice one.

I'm waiting to hear a logical argument from someone.

The age related put down, as you put it, was because you went for my typo, nothing to do with you supporting the preservation of life.

I had hoped you'd further explain your simplified outlook on the Falkland Islands, or as you see it, a 'lump of rock'.

A lot of sense there, albeit somewhat controversial.

Back in the 1980s it would have made a lot more sense to offer the Falklanders £1m each and a choice of whether they wanted to stay where they were (under Argentine rule) or resettle in UK. As it turned out many billions were spent and hundreds of lives were lost.
