Fail. Titanic was White Star Line, that ship has a Cunard front and look suspiciously like "The Queen Mary II".Wikipedia said:
For the film, the RMS Queen Mary was used as a stand-in for the SS Titanic II during the departure scenes and some of its interiors .

Try having sex with a girl sometime.Lady: "Hahahahah!! OK, that sounds like fun, let's go"
Z: "Awe.some. Get in! Let's go. The Titanic was run by White Star Line, don't you know, yeah, sister ship of Olympic and Britannic. Some people get really confused between the White Star Line front end and the Cunard front end, or bow as it's known to us nautical folk. How you can confuse them is beyond me, it really is, one's got the bevelled plimsoll line while the other has it concave!! Where are you going? Come back. Hey. Come back. I've not even told you of the contra rotating propellor drive they were thinking of installing"

No thanks, I prefer women. Here is where we are free to geek out as you can't do it in real life with real people about. You'd never get laid. This as I understand it is the primary function of the internet generally and forums in particular.
I shall remember this next time you assert that an old donkey is wearing the wrong wing mirrors or wheels.

Who in their right mind would ever buy a ticket for its maiden voyage?
I love the idea of it though, although I'd rather see a faithful recreation, steam engines and all. An aquatic Orient Express experience, a slice of Edwardian luxury - even if it is slower and less efficient than modern cruise liners that by comparison mostly look ghastly.
I eagerly await a follow up with a (sort of) sister ship named Poseidon.

QM2 can go a fair bit quicker - 30kts vs. Titanic's 24. By the end of the Atlantic liner period they were doing some pretty daft speeds - SS United States averaged the transatlantic crossing at 35.59kts, which is around 40mph.
