I had a little look at that texas death penalty list and last words someon eposted on here the other day. I felt that quite a few on there probably deserved to die for what they'd done whilst others I was less sure of.

Scum like this however are exactly what the death penalty should be used for.

I'm not an advocate of the death penalty but watching the speach that his Dad made and hearing of his behavior while in custody and in court has brought tears to my eyes and made me so angry that right now all I can think about is that this piece of slime being dead would be a good thing.

A man like this doesn't deserve the privelege of any sort of life.
Not normally an advocate of the death penalty as just one mistake or wrongful conviction would be horrendous.

Can't see the problem with it in this case though - he has admittted to the crime (by trying to plead manslaughter), has shown no remorse whatsoever, even laughing in court in front of his victim's parents. While on remand he has shown himself to be a nasty piece of work, trying to injure other prisoners and guards.

I think it's about £40K/year to keep someone in prison, so a minimum of £1.2million in this case. I see no reason to spend that money when an injection would probably cost about a tenner.

Nasty little wker, I bet he's not half as tough as he likes to think he is.

Absolutely no reason for him to live.

I thought his victim's parents were very dignified on the News last night - there was an extended interview on North West Tonight, lasting a good few minutes smile . Very sad story.

Wait till he is an old man sat there with no future after spending the last 40 years in jail knowing he destroyed his life and another lifes knowing he will die alone in jail as a wee scrote like that will try to proove he is the hardman and his life sentance will mean life.

Or

Under your way it is a quick injection and night night it is all over while his victums family carrys on suffering.

A death sentance is the easy way out

rofl

Sadly human rights lawyers are way more expensive then a few million

Look at America and you will see the death sentance is in no way nor form the cheap option

I reckon it's more than £40k/yr, that's only £110/day...

Agree someone should slot the little , he's a waste of oxygen

I'd agree with you if he'd been sent to a Siberian gulag or something similar, unfortunately I think he'll have a relatively cushy life in a UK prison, he certainly won't have to worry about food and shelter for a long time.

I didn't realise being a fking with no more right to existence then a boil on my arse, was a medical condition. Can't help but feel he really doesn't give a st and will likely end up as the bully in prison as well.

He should be kept in a cold concrete room with access only to food and water when it is needed to keep him alive. When he is nearing the end of his life he should then be slowly killed.

I presume he'll be going to Franklin, Durham?

Hard place to live for 30 years, he may well be killed inside.

RIP the victim and condolences for the family. no punishment, Capital or otherwise is suitable unfortunately. May he burn in hell.

Hopefully he will be more likely to be attacked by others of his kind if he tries to play the hard man in prison.

Does this happen regularly - prisoners killing other prisoners? Are there any stats?

A fine rant Ivan and very well observed.
Although with such an acerbic turn of phrase I fear you may have a medical condition.

I'd like to suggest either Ian Huntley or "Charles Bronson" as his cell mate.

I would imagine with his attitude there's every chance that harm will come his way.
