It was more than steep though, looked like it was beyond vertical??
I think that's what the bloke meant by 100 degrees (ie greater than 90 degrees), ie your body goes from vertical at the top, to slightly more than horizontal during the drop.Awesome!

Metal coasters suck
99% agree.except in the case of Nemesis - that is a masterpeice of a coaster.
but my favorates remain the Grand National and Wild Mouse at Blackppool
Grand national is a great ride too.

Unless the video is edited down (which i suppose is likely) it looks very tame from after the drop to the end, and the drop itself looks very short.
It's never the same as when you're actually there. Been on a track day? Being in the car usually feels rapid, but watching a video of it filmed from the sidelines, it looks fairly slow compared to how fast it felt when you're in the car.http://xkcd.com/chesscoaster/
I love the caption on the last photo. "That's right, a fking helicopter."

Saw this being built last year and promised to take my girls there as soon as it opened. Guess who has the pleasure of riding (and queueing) for it on Sunday!
Make sure you check the Thorpe Park website on Sunday morning before you leave to make sure it's up and running, if it's anything like Stealth it'll be broken repeatedly during the coming weeks (trust me, I was working for TP when Stealth opened, that was a customer services nightmare).Nano2nd said:

It broke the last time i was there, right at the top, luckily, or unluckily whichever way you look at it i wasn't on it at the time.
Slightly OT but..
Where do you sit on rollercoaster, after a bit of testing we found that the back of the coaster was the best place for G-force.

sign of an experienced coasterer in my opinion - the back normally has the best air, the highest G. Unless it's a LIM start, of course.
