Do city workers deserve a kicking? No. Do the few pig with thier snouts in the troughs of indecent bonuses and rediculous expenses? Yes. But they wont actually be there.
Pretty much sums up my thoughts.

There are plenty of people that have worked very hard to be successful in the city, the minority of moraless thieves (because that is what they are) give the rest a bad name, and give the crusties a misinformed excuse to go and smash up some cars they can't afford, and some businesses that they're too stupid/lazy to work for.

Shame they aren't directing their ire at the people who are actually responsible.
Who's that then?

Certainly isn't me.

YES. fk the City. fk the bankers and all the other trough pigs who just can't get enough of it, and who regularly fk it up for the rest of decent society.

Unfortunately, there is only one language these sociopaths understand, so my sympathies to innocent people who get caught up in it.

The worst thing is that this will probably be the one chance the governments have to destroy the influence of the financial organised crime world, but they're not seizing the chance.

It staggers me that the government is mincing around when they could, one way or another, destroy Fred Goodwin, destroy Barcap SCuM and bring the rest to heel.

There should be millions of people on these demos, but we just don't seem to fight back.

I think the vast majority of the city is misrepresented by the media and people who have never been/worked in the city feed off this.

Obviously there are a fair few who could do with a kicking though wink

The city contributes an estimated £67.8bn of taxes, 14% of the total UK tax take.

I don't work in the city or in financial services (never have), but it would seem a bit myopic to just say 'feck em all'.

Money is worthless without actual production to match it, apart from monopolising cash and bad risk judgements, what do these city types actually produce ?

Are you able to define what a banker does? When you talk about "trough pigs", are you talking about people who freeload off the state? Or people who pay taxes?

It's so easy to pick apart what you post, I can only assume that you are joking and trying to wind people up.

Where do you draw the line, though? I mean, I work for a consultancy firm. I specialise in change management. I am currently engaged at a bank in the City, though I have spent about half my career working or central government. Does this mean I'm guilty by association, BOR? Must I suffer along with Fred Goodwin, simply for being in a job at a particular location?

Any banker that accepts a huge public bailout then pays the bonuses to the dealers and traders that took on the toxic debts needs a damn fine kick in the kidneys as far as I'm concerned.

Not as big a kick in the kidneys as the FSA who comprehensively failed to do what it says on the tin, and by no means as big a kick in the frickin' head that GORDO the CRETIN needs, regularly from every taxpayer.

metaphorically, of course ;-)

I'm not an apologist, far from it. I assume your earlier post about 'fvck the bankers' had nothing to do with money then? You don't care for their shoe choice perhaps?

Yes indeed, also my sympathies in case your sister, daughter or mother get caught up in it and end up in hospital or dead, but hey, it's the price we must be prepared to pay for mob justice right?

I don't believe there will be any violence towards individuals.
