I have no idea whether he actually said it but read the quote from somewhere! if it wasn't for Albert Einstein nuckleur weapons wouldn't excist so he would of known the dangers of them.

As for North Korea they wouldn't last 5 days in a modern war. Badly equipped soldiers and poorly supplied with food. The only fat people in North Korea are Kim Il Jung and his obese offspring.
laugh;) Realistically they would last a lot longer than five days.

Paper bags at the ready

Many westernised countries have way too much to lose to allow this to escalate.

Although Japan said 'Unimaginable consequences' if NK tried it on.

Yeah, NK would send wave after wave of their own men, until the American's guns are clogged with bodies.

No, neither North OR South Korea would last 5 days.

Oh just wondering. Just that on occasion they (quotes from people) have altered from what was said or never said at all and also when (in time). I suppose that if you (Albert) worked this out then it does not take much to see that some enterprising soul would make a weapon out of it. So I would say intelligent is working out theory, casually observant of human nature works out we will make a weapon out of it.

Einstein's exact quote is:

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

And there's a million of them, and most of them are 'brainwashed'. They probably believe in what they're fighting for. The ones defecting, I assume are more intelligent that the rest. I guess the grunts don't have access to much outside influence given most citizens don't know man has been to the moon.

Are the military really starving ? I read they have no airforce to speak of, but still, would the ground forces adhere to any kind of rules of engagement ?

I'm not starting a PH 'Iknowloadsofmilitaryhistory' cockfight, I genuinely know little about warfare. What I have seen though is that the US plough into your Vietmans and Afghanistans and get stuck with the local greengrocer and his AK47.

I think that sums it all up really. I really do not believe that the US will join in on this war. Can they even afford it?

I doubt this will escalate into a world war, IMHO it's far more likely that a "diplomatic" solution is drawn up, that would give the Chinese North Korea with the South remaining independent under NATO protection. . . . . . . . I wouldn’t be surprised to see China offer the US / NATO members considerable amounts of their debt back, in return for a quick and positive (for China) solution.

The only real losers will of course be the people of Korea and anybody hoping for a new series of M.A.S.H hehe

If the North kick off they will not have much choice. I think the North are spoiling for it and poking them with a sharp stick in the hope they do so they can hold their hands up and shout about the US aggressor and try to look wronged on the worlds stage..

I think people are making the mistake in believing that because China is communist that they'd support North Korea, I remember a speech from one of their leaders on communism where he stated (along the lines of) 'Black cat, white cat, it doesn't matter as long as it's a good rat catcher' ie China will do what is best for China, and supporting North Korea will not benefit them as a nation that has just arrived on the world stage and is becoming a major influence.

Yep, China are a capitalist communist state these days. They will see Korea as a potential bigger marketplace for their business. A unified Korea would not be able to look after itself (giving the poor North what they need to come out of the 18th century) based purely on South Korea's economy so China may offer Korea cheap loans in return for trade agreements.
