Ocean Terminal is in the process of being redeveloped, with a significant shift away from retail towards residential. I’ve not been for ages so I’m not sure what stage it’s at.

I live in East Lothian but I’m in staying on the Royal Mile in a rather lovely serviced apartment for the next two weeks, and walk my dog around the city every day and I’ve noticed a marked decline unfortunately, but I think that’s common in most UK cities. There are certainly a lot more dodgy people hanging around than I remember when I lived here!
Stop walking around the bottom of Canongate and Holyrood Road then!
I assume you are meaning Hunters square/ South Bridge area.
The police shall start the annual Jakey cleanse in the next few weeks just in time for the mass tourism to start in mid May.

Can’t comment on FMQs, but she has voted today so presumably was there https://www.parliament.scot/chamber-and-committees...

But it's political money, not real money like that carer stole while working at the supermarket, this whole thing has been blown out of all proportion. While embezzlement sounds like a serious crime it is also a valuable word in Scrabble, think there needs to be some perspective here if it's something a child can play on a triple word score.

I wonder how well the "don't recall" or "not that I was aware of" excuses will hold up for the other one?

She'll just be able to remember that it was all his fault and that she had nothing whatsoever to do with it. She was focused on running the country smile

If I wasn’t getting up at silly o’clock for work.
I would be opening my bottle of the rather lovely Harris Whisky for a few.

I guess now is the time for Nicola Sturgeon to literally 'come out' and explain that her and her husband have in fact been estranged for years and been living apart (while at the same time lifting the reporting restrictions on what everyone with a press pass has known for nearly a decade now).

Would certainly make the basis of a good defence against art-and-part.

This.
Plus some will start sweating now if he has some skeletons in the cupboard he could bargain with to trim that wee jail time a bit...

Forty primary schools in the whole of Scotland are part of the charter. How many of them have LGBT champions, and how many of those are asking four year olds whether they are gay?
All of the 40. It is a requirement to qualify for the charter.

Does this just not highlight what we all have felt for years people in public office often have their hand in the till or at least abuse the staff discount

This is a real life British political drama. All we need now is someone to be filmed bombing it down the M8 in a campervan being chased by multiple police cars, streamed live via Skynews helicopter

Sturgeon has been quoted as saying "I won't take lessons on embezzlement from that man over there that I'm married to that I don't know"
