Yes, whenever I turn on the BBC I'm always thinking 'I wish they'd stop the wall-to-wall global warming propaganda and maybe just put on a few dramas, a comedy or two or even a bit of sport.' And yet, there it is, global warming propaganda, all over the schedules from 6am to 6am.

Is it really on 6am to 6pm? And why is it propaganda? Is it reporting research or does it have an agenda? If so what is it?

Did anyone have the misfortune to catch much of Radio 4's output today?

A themed day about the refugee crisis. Refugees are, we were told, very nice people, who we should welcome into our country.

From 0600 when I got in my van, until I got home, with very few breaks.

There are other radio stations available.

With a obligation for balance, spoken word and paid for by the public? Which one?

Why listen to something you don't like for twelve hours? Did the Archers mention it?

I didn't. I switched off. As, I am sure, did many of their licence fee paying subscribers.

I am sure with a bit of judicious button pressing you could have avoided sport and immigration as subject matter. I listened to R4 on and off today and managed to avoid both.

Today was the first time I've seen Niger Farage on the BBC in the run up to the EU referendum.

You could have been forgiven for thinking he'd died the amount of coverage he's has on the Beeb.

Or the amount of coverage he's had in any media. I put it down more to the turf wars of who is the official Leave campaign, and who is going to be its public face(s), than the BBC particularly.

In the run-up to the election he was barely off screen. Maybe some of his supporters have realised that he's only good for preaching to the converted.
