Political bias at BBC - something has to be done surely

Whatever that is, maybe dreamt up by the same people that push the idea of WW2 as a European Civil War. All the Italians I know identify as Italian, not European, the Dutch as Dutch and British as British/English/Welsh/NI/Scottish, but not European.

I don't think so. Their so-called 'left wing bias' is actually a bias in favour or the new left (New Labour/Blairism). They favoured Blair over Major, Blair over Hague/IDS/Howard, Cameron (the Blairite) over Brown, Miliband and Corbyn. A future Blairite Labour leader such as Chukka or David Miliband will probably find they have the support of the BBC over a Conservative leader such as David Davis or probably any Eurosceptic.

What a load of tosh, I think the writer missed the point,North Korea TV is a state TV channel, what was inferred that very few countries have a TV station as a mouth piece fr the government,most of those would be the ones you won't want to live in, with very few rights or freedoms.

If the govt interfered then we are in the same league as those countries?

Now answer this, when the BBC was gunning after Alistair Campbell and Blair for the Iraq war, did you think there was a right whinger agenda? Did Labour interfere with the BBC despite the quite obvious aggression against the Labour party (and rightly so in my opinion), how would you explain?

Personally no, because as per when the questionable 'support' for Brown arose, there were decades of left-wing bias to set against it.

Shy-it, not even the BBC could ignore just how far over the line Blair and co had gone with that war. It would have REALLY blown the whistle on BBC bias for even the most blinkered of people had they remained silent.

An attack on BBC is not direct interference though, anyway I asked did Labour interfere in one of the most direct attacks on a govt I can remember?

The fact is that ex BBC employees have blown the whistle on BBC bias on a number of occasions. Even the former head conceded it was biased.

Jaysus,he's full of the joys of spring isn't he. Glad I don't live so negatively. Not sure a right wing rag helps the argument against a bias bbc given it's a bit fruit loop.
