I hope this analogy works:

It would be like spending years traveling singlehanded around the world via the North and South poles only to find a pilot jumps on board at Canary Wharf, takes the tiller and sails the boat under Tower Bridge to Westminster while you are tied up in the galley..........can't blame Farage for being a bit emotional myself.
Always enjoyed your analogies ...hehe

Also not sure the " laughing now" was actually scripted or pre planned by Farage and more a reaction to getting a boo and jeer.... Subtle difference..

Win the battle but lose the war. Does anyone think we'll even leave? Nobody with any power seems to actually want it.

I expect some kind of deal or remain party will get elected and that will be the last time the Great British public gets a referendum on Europe. Then we can settle down and become a federal Europe once and for all.
I will admit that I am not confident that we will leave. However, the EU could become greatly weakened over the next couple of months. There is real fear across Europe and the knives are out for Junker. I'd like to see Schulz go as well. If they could get less committed federalists into office, then real reform might be possible.

It is interesting to see Europhiles across the continent beginning to talk about "reform". However, we have a very long way to go before they are ready to offer anything meaningful.

In the meantime, my negotiating position would be to hand in 6 months notice and bugger off on a 4 week holiday.

They would soon stfu about Britain needing to invoke Article 50.

You could actually see the fear in the EU Parliament. What you could not see was the faintest bit of understanding.

I think he did a marvellous job, perhaps all the rubber back brigade could take note and find a more fitting spine to run our country rather than sell it off to the highest eu bidder

Given the circumstances, he was very restrained. He has been planning this speech for 17 years.

"When I came here 17 years ago and I said I wanted to lead a campaign to get Britain to leave the European Union, you all laughed at me. Well, I have to say, you're not laughing now, are you?"

That pretty lady sitting behind him was clearly loving it. The guy behind him to the right was also having a great time.

I just watched the episode on the news (or what they wanted me - and everyone else - to see). Farage taunting them at the end.

Yet watching this RT video shows it was the pathetic EU members who started it. Acting like the f. children that they are.

http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/farage-tells-...

Farage stands and says 'Good Morning' (not once, but twice) and many of the rest erupt with whistling and jeers.

Then the chair (Schulz), give him his due, interrupts and virtually tells the ranters) this is not how democracy works.

LOVE EUROPE.
fk the EU.

Nah!
So in 25 years it will have covered the £250bn that the BOE had to pump into the economy after the vote result. When can I expect my new hospital?
We can start building in two years.

Meanwhile, I wonder why the queen is looking so happy?

She holds a german passport. you don't.

I doubt that, but if you can show evidence I would be happy to concede.

Oh and Mrs. Farage definitely holds a German (note the capital letter) passport, so it's not indicative of much.

I apologise to any fellow EU citizens. The lying Farage is an embarrassment to right minded Brits & will not be so smug when Brexit is dumped .
We look forward to that day post the UK General rlection later this year.

Since you still have the right to reside anywhere in the EU, why don't you do so and leave the majority of us who wish not to live in the EU to sink or swim on our own terms?

There was no 'news', you LOSER!

It was a uncut video as it happened.

Watch it.

As for strength, you probably need it. Go and have a Red Bull and sit down.
And learn some grammar while you're at it. 'Yeah go you winner' FFS!
