Hottest Nothern Hemisphere summer evaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa according to usual suspects.

What is odd is how the UK is all red/orange! CET was cold, about mid-position in the entire set, and further north Scotland and NI were even colder.
Also Australia is all yellow orange, yet parts have had a 1 in 25 year coldest winter.

All smoke and mirrors and fraud and lies.

Again...is this not the desired effect of the recent 'adjusting' of SST bouy temps which are generally more accurate and cooler towards ship inlet temps which are generally less accurate and warmer?

European heat waves are not uncommon. And that doesn't answer the fact that the UK and Aus are shown as hot too.

To correct you, South eastern Europe has sweltered, the rest less so. Germany, France and Northwards has been as rubbish and cold as here. In addition, I recall watching the Radio1 Ibiza special on the iplayer, it was pissing down there in August; that is almost unheard of.

It certainly does...my emphasis below:

Michaels Lindzen and Knappenberger commenting on summer 2015 rentapaper said:
The treatment of the buoy sea-surface temperature (SST) data was guaranteed to put a warming trend in recent data. They were adjusted upwards 0.12°C to make them “homogeneous” with the longer-running temperature records taken from engine intake channels in marine vessels. As has been acknowledged by numerous scientists, the engine intake data are clearly contaminated by heat conduction from the structure, and they were never intended for scientific use.
The faithful were desperate to bust the pause and this was their pathetic attempt, however, once incorprorated into media coverage, the desired result is achieved and believers can move forward, forgetting it even happened and hoping everyone else will do the same.

And to correct you, a friend who lives near Antwerp has had the hottest summer in at least the last thirty years.

Although I'm not a big fan of grandiose titles so I'd prefer "Mohandas K. Gandhi".

They think they're going to strap us to the comfy chair and get Monbiot to tickle us to death with a big feather.

Don't these rash fools know we have attack nuns, baying for blood in the wings..?

How does that override the First Amendment?

If criminality exists it should be addressed, maybe that's it. Once done or once shown to be absent, surely the First Amendment applies.

It certainly wasn't hot here in Stuttgart. There were only about a dozen days over 90F the whole summer.

The west is now so left wing Chris? Where do you get these notions from. The CEO of Shell is talking
about solar power for now and the future. He admits that we can't go on the way we are now regarding fossil fuels.
O&G companies have a vested interest in solar and wind, mainly because neither are going to usurp their control of transport and process fuels in the short to intermediate term and probably not even in the long term.

We're supposed to be getting a real arsefreezer of a winter, if it materialises no doubt it will be blamed on CAGW; at the moment here on the Clyde we're getting an indian summer.

That will be an opportunity to publicise all the supressed and fiddled data, and bring it out in the open.

The GWPF has already appointed independent scientists to lead an inquiry into data 'adjustment'. Hopefully their report will be announced with perfect timing, immediately before Paris and just as the BBC and Guardian are whipping themselves into an orgasmic frenzy of faith.

Well then all the AGW scientists who have "fiddled" with the data and destroyed raw data etc can go to jail rather rapidly.

Still, more evidence that it is a religion and not scientific at all. No scientist worth their salt would ever make such an assertion - jail those who disagree with my research!?!? I think perhaps another career is in order then fella.

It's not science as we know it Jim, not in this thread smile

Beam me up Scotty it's getting cold down here.

But they are re-adjusting the data so fast it's like trying to hit a moving target!
