The only possible solution would be to bribe them all to leave the West (and we know how much Muslms like handouts).
This is what I was getting at. Say, £1,000,000 for every Muslim (or other religionist nutter) who wants to leave. If there are 2.6m Muslims in the UK then the bill would come to £2.6Bn if all of them took up the offer. A drop in the ocean really. Governments don't get much for that sort of cash these days so it really wouldn't be missed.
2 Trillion 600 Billion a drop in the ocean?

Perhaps, and I know this is a leap, the moderate majority are s**t-scared?

Please say where I was supporting ANY of the actions.

My point is that most, if not all religious groups have their extremists that commit horrible, hateful atrocities and that Christians are not exempt. To take that I appease from my comment is the delusional view.
To compare this as you did to what Christians have done is totally irrelevant, we are dealing with the here and now.

The stated aim of IS is quite clear, indeed it has been made brutally clear, what this has to do with any other religion is creating a smokescreen in my view. The apologists trot the same arguments out all the time. You can blame who you like, but IS are simply not going to get bored, and pack up their kitbags and go home.

I would be interested in hearing how you propose to stop this savagery, because I can only see it getting much worse.

How exactly am I defending these lunatic murderers?
What I am saying is that we'll get absolutely nowhere if we don't ask the hard, awkward questions like why nearly half of the worlds population despises The West & deal with that.
Jealousy of what the west can do.
Hatred of white europeans.
Hatred of differing religions.

What is your answer? Perhaps to carpet-bomb them out of existence? Yeah, that worked well. Like in Iraq?
Carpet bomb with neutron bombs would get the job done, ensuring a good 25 mile overlap between affected zones?

We fund & have trained a lot of these Muslim extremist groups. No doubt we continue to do so, although more covertly these days. Regime change, I think they call it.
The waters are very muddy indeed, my friend.
Who is this "we" you refer to?
You mean our treasonous leaders surely?
They hardly speak for the majority of us and we condemn their interference in other peoples affairs, so please dont lump us in with them...

I think you may be right but for the wrong reasons.

They aren't scared of extremists, they are scared of Allah.

I know plenty of moderate Muslims who wouldn't dream of attacking innocents but by their very nature they are entirely brainwashed.
To reject the actions of fellow Muslims however disgraceful might incur the wrath of God. The sword verses are in the Quran for all to see, even if they disagree it's still the word of God. And the word of God is irrefutable.

You have to try to put yourself in their absurdly irrational mindset. Their creator, quite literally the arbiter of everything and everybody they know, the ultimate decider of their and all their loved one's fates is standing behind them right now drumming his fingers on the table and asking: "Do you really want to reject my teachings? Do you really want to reject me?"

They are completely fked. You can't rationalise this nonsense.

Talk of moderates and education is utterly irrelevant, either ban religion or stop importing it.

No, it's 2.6 billion. 2.6 million people, a million quid each. One million million is one billion. If there are one million people and you give each one a million pounds then that is one billion pounds. Two point six times one million is two point six billion.

Edit; yes, you're correct. Getting mixed up with my US and English billions.

Unfortunately hardly anyone, including HM Revenue or the treasury use the olde-English definition of a billion. To ignore the US billion (1,000 million) in 2015 is perverse.

Yes, my mistake, been a long week.

Ok, so make the offer £100K to get to the £2.6bn total. Actually make it £200k for a bill of £5.2bn. Still a do-able figure given that we are talking about £7bn just to renovate the Palace of Westminster and are spending twice that digging a rail tunnel under London which will benefit a tiny minority of the population. It's still enough that any family taking the offer would be fabulously wealthy in whatever Muslim country they decide to go to.
