The big worry is that Islamic terrorists will look like fluffy bunnies if the German far-right start to gather momentum. Especially now they have allies in former Eastern Bloc states, too.
Be interesting to see how EU governments would deal with it. They've stepped around the 'Islam issue' as quite rightly it is not all Muslims, just a dangerous minority causing the problems. Will they be so careful with right wing politics?
No they won't, the lefties in charge of the EU will act with great speed to stamp out any far-right actions.....you can be sure of that.

Is it common for far right terrorism to involve multiple individuals in Europe?

I've just re-read the Rivers of Blood speech, it seems strangely prophetic of late.
yes Indeed it does.
So you believe the black man has the whip hand over the white man?
He foresaw immigration creating resentment and unrest, on the general sentiment he would appear to have been correct.

I am merely making a historical observation.
That's my interpretation too, as I alluded to earlier.

Not that I'm aware of which is why it probably isn't far right terrorism.

There's not been any indications as to who did this or what their motives were. There's a few grainy videos and images floating around, but they're not clear enough to show anything useful.

All Westerners should leave Saudi and then the West should nuke it and take the place over. If we didn't need the oil we could just nuke it and leave it.

  • People are dead

If you look at some of the far right arson/murder/whatever cases in Germany they tended to be done by members of a group not individuals

Is there actually any real evidence of more than one person in this shooting? At the moment everything looks like just one person. A bit like there were reports of shootings at multiple sites but nothing actually seems to have happened elsewhere apart from rumours.

The whabist doctrine is a cancer growing on the face of the civilised world.
Just the basic doctrine is bad enough. How the hell can we allow this hateful, oppressive, intolerant st to be freely preached to an accepting population that lives amongst us in our civil society.

It's 2016. We are slowly being dragged back to the fking dark ages - and we're not allowed to complain about it.
This. It's absolutely fking absurd.
Since when haven't you been able to complain?

Still nothing from Merkel. Doubt her career will survive this.
Who becomes the supposed Head of Europe if she goes (Europe, not the EU, I'm not talking about Juncker's position)?

Where's her press conference? It's been six hours, is she busy doing a jigsaw or something? I found this:

http://zeenews.india.com/news/world/chancellor-ang...

Which states the meeting will be tomorrow. It all seems a little lackadaisical given that it still seems to be a live situation.

Radial idea - but maybe she wants to be properly informed, know what she's dealing with, rather than jumping to conclusions like many posters in this discussion?

She can't make any decisions right now that will be better than those made by the police commanders on the ground. What she can do is look at the longer term strategic issues once this situation has been brought under control and she knows who is responsible.

Quite how she became 'The Decider', I do not know. In this regard, she is probably irreplaceable.
