I'm frantically trying to find all the articles I read.
found one that had this statement that I may have read incorrectly believing it had been dealt with, but so much dross since I first looked looks like I have my work cut out.
West Yorkshire Police said another “unconnected” incident occurred on October 7 and left the teenager being attacked in the first video with a wrist injury.
Three children were interviewed but officers left the matter to be dealt with by the school.
Take your time and try and get it right.found one that had this statement that I may have read incorrectly believing it had been dealt with, but so much dross since I first looked looks like I have my work cut out.

Where did I say anything about skin colour at all?
Sharing one of the millions of school fight videos online and across the media because of the skin colour of the victim, as thousands of people apparently did, seems to smack of virtue signalling to me.
As for my opinions: It's a horrible incident, attacking someone smaller with a broken arm who doesn't want a fight is disgusting behaviour and he should be punished appropriately.
Since we're on the subject of refugees: I don't think we should be taking in men in their 20s and 30s who claim to be children, or people who think it's ok to camp out in Calais and break into lorries. They're not refugees, they're criminals. I don't think we should be taking in refugees at all as a general policy because none of our neighbouring countries are at war. We should be helping refugees in the regions affected to find safety then return and rebuild their countries. When there's family links or other reasons for wishing to come to Britain then they should do through normal immigration channels, once safe.
None of that is any fault of the boy in the video, and none of it for one minute excuses the behaviour of the bully or animosity towards individuals in general. It's a failure of our own government's policies and that's where anger should be directed.
And I still think it's the first news story about a 14 year old refugee who isn't a foot taller than his class mates with a full beard.
Do what you like with semi-colons.
Dealt with at one paragraph at a time. Sharing one of the millions of school fight videos online and across the media because of the skin colour of the victim, as thousands of people apparently did, seems to smack of virtue signalling to me.

You wouldn’t have an opinion but for the skin colour
Sharing vs virtue signalling is all subjective, not least as if the skin colours were reversed you’d be screaming from the rooftops
Cowards attack in different ways but it’s always similar in the end.
Pure whataboutism. Sadly naive at best, biased at worst around the concept of refugees.
Agreed
Racist
No need on semi colons

this article it clearly states that the boy was excluded on November 20th and that the police were happy for the school to deal with it.

Wow, you’re using that to defend the bully? Just for clarification, to coin a phrase, it states that the bully was excluded, but it absolutely does not state the police were involved, or that any action was taken in the timeframes you state. this article it clearly states that the boy was excluded on November 20th and that the police were happy for the school to deal with it.

also....
The solicitor did not set up the go fund me page but had offered to assist the family to get the money from the fund as they were not connected to the person that started it.

who is defending the bully? it most certainly isn't me, i'm having a hard enough time defending myself
I think you’re losing. Read the article again. It doesn’t mention the police or their timescales or being happy with the outcome.

it clears up one aspect of the post as to police involvement as an accurate statement, it was not posted to support what I said, but to clarify police involvement in an unequivocal way. me being right or wrong no longer matters to me, I just want to be accurate.

The bully fears for safety and has fled the country with his mum. Someone call Alanis and show her what the word really means.
Is that actually true ?Perhaps it shouldn’t but that has made me laugh heartily
It is superbly ironic whichever way you look at it.
This one’s even worse - the poor girl could have died.
