They're all nothing stories, regardless of source.

As I understand it, he's conscious, and has been for a long time but has little communication or movement. Nothing new.

Basically the stories all boil down to "Michael Schumacher has surgery". Its sad, but I can't imagine we'll hear anything else until he either dies, or is well enough for his family to make some sort of positive information release. Hoping very much for the latter of course, he was a hero of mine growing up, and what happened was truly awful.

Except it's the Telegraph, simply paraphrasing the original article in a French newspaper.

If as reported he is conscious my previous suspicion that his family would have certainly put his sons racing on the TV. Michael might have been award or not but being conscious increases the possibility.

Conscious doesn’t really mean anything though because when you’re in a Vegatitive state you are classed as conscious

Any improvement in his condition would obviously be welcome but unless and until confirmation comes from an official source (i.e. either his family and/or the doctors treating him) I think these stories need to be taken with a pinch of salt....

Pointless speculating - especially assuming the worst. I’m a glass half full sort of guy and I believe what I posted above. World a sadder place if it’s always st news - hope expectation dreams goals passion

Probably, but there has been several reports of him being conscious before, didn't Brawn or Todt say that last year.
Seem to remember it was Todt saying he had watched a GP with him. (or that was the story in the paper).

He was covered on a gurney.

He's not arriving by people carrier and being pushed in sat in a wheelchair is he.

It doesn't need thinking about too much. Appalling to think about.

Michael is a very very determined guy.
If anyone can recover from this then he will.
I fear it’s not possible but I hope he does.

I could be wrong but I don’t think determination has much to do with recovery from a brain injury.

I don’t think he can even experience the concept of ‘giving up’. You’re expecting a conscious response from a brain that’s probably not capable of functioning that way.

I just wish the guy luck
I hope there's some kind of future, even if severely disabled for him.

Apparently MS is set for stem cell surgery within days with Dr Philippe Menasche performing the operation. If it’s true then fingers crossed it’s a success.

Daily Mail I’m afraid! Hence the ‘if true’ comment.
