Absolute tosh.
When George Michael came out of hospital last when he had a near brush experience with death, he gave a press interview and said how happy he was to be alive, and how much more he had to live for,
You know better than his boyfriend, who found him dead in bed? Wow. Do tell...When George Michael came out of hospital last when he had a near brush experience with death, he gave a press interview and said how happy he was to be alive, and how much more he had to live for,

Four years ago. A lot can happen in four years. Although I'm very much doubtful it was suicide myself. When George Michael came out of hospital last when he had a near brush experience with death, he gave a press interview and said how happy he was to be alive, and how much more he had to live for,

Maybe it will easier for your hedgehog sized brain just to keep obsorbing the 140 character count from a twitter account.

Why on earth would someone do such a thing There are some heartless people about.
As it was Robbie Williams doing the new year concert last night our party started playing some of the concert that was screened on BBC last week. I mentioned his version of Let Her Down Easy, nary a dry eye in the house after we watched it especially as both couples have young daughters. Stunning voice...

I watched an interview documentary, split into around 5 videos, on YouTube. I think it was from around 2008. A few things resonated.
In one interview with Parky he was asked directly whether he suffered from depression and he denied it. In these interviews he confirmed he did and that it occurred throughout his family. A band member suggested he was absolutely broken when his mother died, could barely hold a conversation.
He credited Andrew Ridgeley for taking him under his wing at school and with giving him the courage and company he needed in the Wham years.
He spoke of wanting to create something positive with his music, money not being a major motivation.
He spoke of wanting to leave a legacy, to be remembered. He spoke of, joked about, dying while he was working.
It seems to me that he needed that other person in his life and couldn't function fully on his own. He knew everything the press was writing about him, all the little details. Being cynical you could say he was self-obsessed, being charitable I would say he was hyper-sensitive and really valued what others thought of him. Paul Gambaccini suggested a personal slur from a Sony executive was rumoured to have been the catalyst for his departure from that label.
The interviews, with others, touched on his philanthropy.
We knew he wasn't happy in later life. You don't drive cars into walls while stoned, you just don't 'fall' out of moving cars. His health seemed fragile a few years ago. The 'last' images of him, showing weight gain, could obviously be the result of comfort eating or mental health related rating disorder. It could be bloating from steroidal medication, often needed for debilitating conditions.
I'd simply say I think he was a fragile, sensitive soul perhaps afflicted by spells of depression. He was creative, imaginative, caring, thoughtful. It shows through history that those who are particularly gifted and creative and do make an impact and leave a legacy, artists, superstars, are often burdened with some affliction.

I'm not a big fan of Georges work but that is stunning version of an amazing song which had got lost in the fog that was TTD's career. https://youtu.be/xJ8DeurBHwo
Cheers for sharing that.
