I wouldn't blame Iran one bit if they decided to just cut off oil from us. We're all big bullies, imo.

Iran should follow through.. At least a broke europe can't afford to bomb the st out of them.
Iran should hire you as an ambassador, you are certainly up their ass far enough. hehe

If that is what you believe in then say so and stop licking the back of Dinner's bag.

Barely, through riddles that did more to reveal your real bias toward anti-West attitudes than plainly defending sovereignty. Any comment on how you totally misinterpreted my Manchester post or is that to be quietly forgotten?

Falls into the quietly forgotten category I guess since I have no idea what you're talking about.

Also, you know that just because you're from the king of western countries you don't have to defend everything they do, right?

I responded to the poster's over generalization of Republicans with an equally silly generalization to point out how silly his post was; you responded to me in a way to demonstrate that you clearly missed the joke (and obviously still do). hehe
As to defending "everything", I actually do not, however, I will defend what I feel I should IMO. On the flip side, you do not have to condemn everything that your country or allies do either.

My apologies Frankeh. I was debating with you over your Iranian posts and I crossed up my post response to Countdown. Again, my apologies, you two seem so alike to me I confuse you with one another. biggrin

That Iranian sponsored PressTV is now off air on Sky, it was 515. Seems Ofcom revoked its license a few weeks back. It was full of a lot of twaddle though.
I get the impression it did it on purpose, Press TV that is, playing the martyr, look at us getting picked on boo hoo. I would not trust them to tell me water is wet.
Wasn't it a lot to do with them showing an "interview" with a guy who was actually under duress and had been tortured?
Think there was a bit more to it than that.
link
And from Press TV
click

And guess who else is upset....

The chinese would not agree with that.

Can't argue with the second point

We were faffing about with I, V and X until we nicked their system.

They did spend along time farting about with something like base 6 though. But that did give us the 24 hour system. biggrin

Possibly as they were both great trading empires in the past but we definitely picked up modern numeracy from the Persian traders.
