I responded to the poster's over generalization of Republicans with an equally silly generalization to point out how silly his post was; you responded to me in a way to demonstrate that you clearly missed the joke (and obviously still do).
As to defending "everything", I actually do not, however, I will defend what I feel I should IMO. On the flip side, you do not have to condemn everything that your country or allies do either.

Possibly as they were both great trading empires in the past but we definitely picked up modern numeracy from the Persian traders.
