Perhaps so, but what is the point of it on a non-touch screen PC or laptop?
M$ and Windows has had a tendency to drive hardware development, so I would suspect they are expecting touchscreen with everything to become de rigeur (assuming we can get the rare earths, of course). Is it possible that this thread doesn't degenerate into a "I know best contest" as so many others unnecessarily do.
I'm just really interested in peoples opinions there is validity in every ones opinions. Incidentally is anyone still using Windows 2000 ? I came across my old install disc for it earlier while looking through my box of dvd's/ cd's. I would think it's pretty much finished now as surely its too insecure to use on the net etc

I have just (@5 weeks ago) done this. No more emails on the handset. Decided to junk the Z10, go back to a Nokia E90 and just use text messaging - the emails can wait!
End result, less stressed, less to think about and my customer conversion rate has improved. Mainly I think because I am not at the back of my mind thinking about damn emails.
In the last few weeks I have become aware that less is indeed more - If it is that important - they'll call!
There is something to be said for limiting contact when out of the office, I'm in the office most days but sometimes it's relaxing to be out and not involved in the day to day stuff. I might even try not to check my emails when I'm on holiday this year, although I think that two weeks might be beyond the powers of my, notoriously weak, willpower.End result, less stressed, less to think about and my customer conversion rate has improved. I asked some computer engineers' opinions on W8; the resounding response was "another Vista"
RH
I think Vista did considerable damage I remember getting it and using it and thought something was wrong with the PC it was so slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Only when the SP came out did it improve. I can't imagine too many business users were impressed with itRH
