We're coming in (The Wharf) but have been told to dress down. I'll don Jeans and Timberlands....Good sturdy boots them.
Yeah, that'll fool 'em rolleyes

Anyone in the City or the Wharf wearing jeans is either a crusty or a city worker. Somehow I think it's quite easy to tell.

Are they seriously expecting it to kick off so much that people can't go into work?

Dunno - noticeable increase in security bods today. All blinds shut and noticeably a lot less people around the City today.

Still a vast amount of roadsigns, roadworks, machinery and advertising hoardings that will make pretty short work of windows...

This morning, up at the top of Bishopsgate (pretty much opposite Dirty Dick's actually) there were half a dozen riot vans parked up, show-of-force style. They're clearly expecting something to kick off tomorrow.

I have just been told to work from home for the next two days. Not really complaining.

I get off the tube at Bank/Royal Exchange and apparently thats the first "target" for them on Wednesday morning so happy to avoid it all TBH.

Is that because they're parked outside the police station there? wink

I've just had a meeting at Deutsche Bank moved to next week. Can't say I blame people. Why should they have to feel threatened in the workplace.

Unfortunately, the crusties have nought but a clue of how the world works and seem to forget that most bank workers are regular joe's on regular (ish) salaries and not earning tenty billion for a 2 hr week.

Twats.

I reckon my place obviously don't give a st about us, as we haven't even had one email mentioning it.....

Maybe its one of the reason we haven't needed any funding so far, nothing stops Bob.

Do you think the crusties will all pop into Maccy Ds for supper tonight/breakfast tomorrow before trashing it tomorrow afternoon?

Double standards, anyone? Or just a double-cheeseburger?

We've all been told to work from home tomorrow if possible. I'm going to take the opportunity to go to the driving range at lunchtime, and maybe have a bbq.

Nice one crusties :P
