Didn't expect anything less. Please explain what legislation we will change to allow the UK to grow and prosper now we are leaving the EU? I thought the red tape of the EU and undemocratic nature of its being (which I agree with, btw) were holding the UK back.

I am yet to have this explained to me - and all I get is abuse.

Mike
Whatever is decided or changed it will be our choice to do so.

Whoever is voted in to change it, they will be our choice

whatever laws are changed to do this will be made by us
Brilliant! So personally you would not change anything?

Mike
Where did I say that ?....I said the above.
Ah, you would have a great career in politics! smile Put simply, what would you change that we could not change before to help UK plc prosper and grow?

Not at all. People have a right to have their opinion if they feel that the decision made is wrong or otherwise. Telling them to shut up and get on with it is stifling debate - especially as this whole mess unfolds.

That we become a democratic country governed by laws made by our representatives, via a parliament chosen by us and accountable to us.

This is a change from laws made by unelected, unaccountable faceless and "selected" people who are neither accountable of can suffer sanction by us.

With the FTSE recovering to end referendum week over 2% up it's odds on that quite a few of the poorest in society were smiling as they checked their portfolio. Those engaged in forex day trading will have made a packet.

Then again, with nothing better to offer, you may have been sloganeering along trite and hackneyed 'poor bloody infantry' lines.
Oh look.

Nero's here.
No he's dead, like our EU membership and the hopes of lightweight abusive individuals who can't cope with it.

Nobody had suggested that. You're making it up. Faking it.

ve Got loads, Cant stand walking into a bathroom with some low energy 40w bulb. Have you been into a DIY Store lately to try and buy a bright bulb? Its a bloody minefield and I'm in the trade!
Saw some 100 watt bulbs on sale in Home Bargains ( council) a few months ago, couldn't believe such flagrant law breaking...
It may not be. All you have to do is to make them with slightly heavier glass, label them as 'industrial' bulbs and it's perfectly legal to sell them.

Another utterly pointless EU regulation that is easily circumvented.

Shouldn't you be advising the poorest in society on how to manage their portfolio?

You have possibly made the most crass comment I have read in a long time. You should be reminded of it.

Edit: Anyway I'm done for the night.

Farage has a German wife.. how do you know he hasn't masterminded this all in cahoots with Merkel?
0/10, I'm afraid.

Why you think I am an expert in any of what you ask I do not know. I allow others to propose, explain and reason, I then choose my politicians accordingly.

I explained what I wanted changed by my vote, I cannot reason why you think you are so clever that you have any solutions or expertise that I think is worth listening to however. Your a bloke (I think) on the internet like me.

The fiddle wasn't invented until the 10th century. Another aged uneducated person speaks out hehe

If Rome's burning these days it just goes to show how ace the EU is in undemocratically imposing a technocrat who's failed to keep the peace.

Agreed! So I open the question to the forum. What laws, enforced by the undemocratic EU clan, would you change first to allow Britain to grow and prosper?

This is not a trap, I am genuinely interested.

As a starter I would stop payments for the EU membership. Not sure why we just stop the DD for this now?

No they didn't.

They downgraded them to AA and put them on negative watch.

Suggest you steer clear of this sort of comment if you don't understand what you are talking about!!

You didn't answer my previous question - what has happened to the government's cost of borrowing following Brexit?

What did you claim would happen?

Please explain the discrepancy...

Something like 86% of all business do not transact with EU customers - why should they have to suffer the cost of compliance with EU rules?
