The wording is potentially misleading for the 18-24 age group, it was 64% of those who were registered to vote but does not say what percentage were registered to vote, that is needed before the "twice as high" claim can be verified.

All this talk is important then, as we need the masses to hear why we can't do X.

A roll call for the ignorant - the UK is still a full member of the EU and likely will be for at least 2 years.

The talk/pressure to do these apparently little things associated with leaving is important because as you point out, we have not left. Most people do not follow politics closely. Average leavers need a hoo-ha from the government about something petty that we cannot do because we haven't left to remind them that the government hasn't yet followed through.

I was against flying that flag while we were still full members with no intention of leaving.

Yup, the EU flag has never featured on my car number plates.

Apart from on a few car number plates the EU flag and symbol is hardly ever seen in the UK anyway. It is not like France where every building seems to fly one.

Also, being precise, the blue flag with the 12 stars is not only the flag of the EU but was originally, and still is, the symbol of the Council of Europe which we are not planning to leave.

Don't tell them that!
They will want out of the Council of Europe too!
Next, we will 'Brexit' from the planet earth and then we will 'Brexit' into an alternate universe... This is only the beginning.
