Godfry Bloom was on Radio York this morning. He seems to have fallen out with Nige, said Farage had lied about throwing him out of the party. Bloom remained a member despite what Farage told the Public. He then had some choice words about the "un-elected" Party Chairman, and the word "Facist" was thrown in for good measure.

There is truely nothing better than a woman scorned, and it seems Godfry has a hell of a chip on his shoulder.

Quite a few of the UKIP-friendly posters in this thread defended Bloom oh so valiantly at the time of the 2013 conference. laugh

He's not the first senior UKIP member, ex colleague or friend to have used the F word in connection with Farage.

It's a personality cult, he's a bullying control freak (see citations below), this comment will make his disciples say "see they don't like us that means we must be right" or "when they smear us like this it show's we are right". That's how cults work, it's how British politics works, it's all a bit childish.

In relation to Godfrey Bloom from perhaps UKIP's least critical supporter:

Referring to members or supporters of UKIP as kippers, ie dead fish, could be seen as derogatory, if you where of such a pathetic mindset!

if you take a step back, the issue really is just semantics.

Let's face it, most of Africa is 'bongo bongo land'

for example, was listening to a bit about the nigreian school girls that were taken, transpires that Boko Haram are effectively paid for and sponsored by Nigeria's politicians, the mediator that was working on the girls release had the full details, names, phone numbers, everything, (including the arms dealer supplying the weapons).

he said they negotiated the release of 40 girls, only for for them to kidnap another 60 and in the process kill ~100 people.

sounds pretty 'bongo bongo land' to me, and let's face it, their neighbours are hardly better are they?

how about Zimbabwe? now there's a stand-up panacea of a state.

Look, I am not fan of Godfrey Bloom, but that does not mean everything he has said does not have some merit, just that he uses the wrong language to express it.

You post drivel like this, and then you complain that people won't engage with you.

How odd... zod.

The thing is that Farage decided he was toxic and froze him out. I don't really give a toss about Godfrey Bloom. He's obviously a harmless buffoon, but people were keen to defend him when he was in the UKIP tent.

what do you expect him to do?

love him or loath him, Godfrey Bloom made himself the target of all kinds of issues that were having a very negative effect on the party.

yes, I would argue the press and PC brigade should shut the f**k up and stop going on about this and that and actually understand the message, but as that's never going to happen any time soon, Godfrey Bloom had to be told to STFU.

or are you suggesting that Nigel just keeps patting him on the head and say 'never mind'?

He could and should have dealt with him at the time and told him publicly "sort yourself out or you are out".

Zod, I certainly defended some of the things Godfrey said, I thought that he was sometimes taken out of context, sometimes he was mischief making for publicity and sometimes he was being an arse. Once it got to the point when he was the story not UKIP, and he was being massively negative to the good of the party and it's aims I was glad he was ejected.

The point I'm trying to make is that sometimes you can end up voting for someone who has promise and potential, then when they have the opportunity to deliver on it they end up being an embarrassment. Their judgement is dodgy, they break promises and they display appalling judgement and think other people must find their childish humour funny because the clique they mix with humour them. This last paragraph is about the biggest liability I ever voted for. CMD.

Cringe, what the hell was I thinking!

Don't despair though, like me thousands of other people who are prepared to admit their mistakes won't vote for them again!

You mean you like the fact they have no plan on how to leave the EU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the rest I assure you as a student of history the PM has often been light weights and make weights. Lets accept it in the last 100 years we have such great figures, as Balfour, Bonar Law, Baldwin, Chamberlain, Eden, Wilson, Heath, Callaghan, Major, Brown.

As for the power of recall. This was a Tory policy which was in the coalition agreement, but Clegg gutted it.
no argument on the pm,s mentioned, but entire cabinets ?

You lot really are making rather a lot out of a pathetic little stunt.

So at least we can agree it was pathetic. Pretty dumb though as it may encourage Labour supporters in Tory-UKIP marginals to vote tactically.

The funniest part isn't the mock up but CMD's silly face.

It was childish.

The thing about the vote UKIP, get Labour message (or analogous messages for other parties against the Tories) is that they need to be pushed locally in the marginals. They don't work well at national level.
