Lots of zombies. Wilson Picket must have been dead for nearly 10 years.

Strip out the women and Septics and you seem to be left with Monty Python and the Goodies. smile

All I know about St Georges Hill happened in 1649.

If you look at the phrase That Jimmy Savile, man, it could be read as That Jimmy's a vile man.

In the most unsurprising news ever, Paul Gadd aka Gary Glitter was today charged with 8 offences under the Sexual Offences Act 1956 which "relate to two female complainants aged between 12 and 14 at the time of the alleged offending between 1977 and 1980"

To think he could have been the wrong end of a firing squad in Vietnam ..

It's a witch hunt etc.

This OK? hehe

Otherwise (as one of those claiming witch hunts against most of those appearing in court nuts ), no comment smile .

With regard to Gadd aka Gary Glitter what excuse do the accusers have for not coming forward sooner is my question? Given that he first faced charges in 1997 any accusation would have been looked at very seriously. All I can presume is that Yewtree see him as a soft "target".

They don't require an 'excuse'. There is no statute of limitation set on sex crimes in the UK.

If you'd been raped as a child by someone not only physically bigger than you but also your hero and incredibly famous, do you reckon you'd have gone straight to the police? Or, do you think you might have been deeply ashamed of yourself and kept it secret for many years?

'Soft target' ffs...

Surely you mean 'if you alleged you'd been raped'?

Another incredible case, the rapes are alleged to have occurred in 1977. Just how good a memory for detail would a 13 year old at the time of the incident have now - nearly 40 years later?

It does beg the question, why wait until now? Gad has been a convicted nonce for ages, and regardless of statute of limitations or not, why wait so long to complain? Intereting too that there is action of several other allegations. I wonder what persuaded the CPS not to take those forward.

How would court case like this proceed with a jury. Innocent until proven guilty etc, earlier convictions not mentioned. All a bit of a farce, there can't be a soul in the land who doesn't know him and his previous.

Off topic, but with everyone being equal in the eyes f the law in theory, how does an infamous person get a fair trial? If Ronnie Kray say was accused of intimidation and assault......
Peter Sutcliffe of rape.....
I know if I was on a jury I would most likely have my mind made up from the start.
