holy fking st !! i have just read the Judiciary. he needs putting down as do he 2 animals who were sentenced with him. there's no rehabilitating that, i dont care what any yogurt knitter may think.
Agreed, I only read enough to know the sort of stuff he did, there is no Hell bad enough for this sick bastid. I hope (but doubt) that he will spend his time in prison in absolute misery/agony.fk that we should bring back capital punishment for a few choice crimes and if your found guilty just take them down to the cells and shoot them, no emotion, no paying to keep them in prison for decades as there hardly going to be rehabilitated are they?
Just serve them there sentance and despatch them swiftly with as little fuss as possible.

There's 2 things going on here. Him in denial. And the system over-reacting. The sentence is crazy, compared to other heinous crimes.
Is this for real or just trolling?Really, is it so unbelievable to say that an obviously deranged bloke is in denial about his offending, but also that the sentence appears disproportionate. Is that really such an unreasonable view?
On the second point I was certainly right anyway, the 36 years as originally reported is actually 'only' 29 in jail which seems more in line with what I would expect.

I agree, kill the stbag but as that's not going to happen the best I can hope for is eternal suffering. fk that we should bring back capital punishment for a few choice crimes and if your found guilty just take them down to the cells and shoot them, no emotion, no paying to keep them in prison for decades as there hardly going to be rehabilitated are they?

Are you for real or just incapable of independent thought - Just because I don't play all North Korea mob mentality and pretend to be more outraged than the next person under pain of death?

Personally, it's a high profile case, I believe an example was made of them all and that if the perpetrator was not in the public eye the sentence would have been reduced.

It sounds like you're attempting to rationalise and minimise what he has done, you should be a defence lawyer. This sick Welshman is one of the vilest men to have come to trial in the UK, pleading guilty to some of the most depraved and appalling crimes possible, and you don't think sending this sick freak to the slammer for next 30 odd years is a good thing? The problem here is not that Watkins' sentence is too harsh, it's that sentencing for others has been too soft. Why you seem aggrieved that he is in jail for such a long time is a mystery to me - the man clearly is and will always be a danger to the vulnerable, and is of no benefit to society. I'm well aware of the details of these cases too, I would say cut from the same cloth....I'm assuming we are talking about 'Ian'Edited by Phil Dicky on Wednesday 18th December 22:27
Although deeply unpleasant, I do not think this case comes close.

He's 36 years old and will be perhaps 65 when he gets out on licence...no money, no fame, no influence and with notoriety following him wherever he goes.
The sentence is......fair to slightly harsh.
