I'm all in favour of that smile - I think your brother needs to be a BIT more specific though wink

it is inteesting news coverage and shows the roboplod adopting the 'take him from behind approach". Interesting approach to policing that. Words like cowardly and pathetic come to mind.

This is going to run and run. I do hope they have suspended the roboplod for his actions - at least until the "truth' becomes more apparent.

I think I would rather trust a starving python in a cage of piglettes that the Met to tell the "truth" when it comes to matters like this.

Independant body, independent body and NO Met influence.

Somehow I doubt it

If there was nothing to hide the officers concerned would have come forward. That they haven't speaks volumes.

Presumably the Police Officer involved knows it was them and will make himself known. Otherwise - what would that say about the honesty of the Police?

Honesty of a Policeman, not Police.

Honesty of the several police in the video, not a policeman.

Just read the newspaper, the BiB seen in the video has come forward and identified himself. No ID details given in the paper I read. However, more information about the victim states (with photos and times) that he was worse the wear from drink, uncooperative with police up to an hour previously and lives in a shelter for the homeless.

Witnesses (MoPs) state he refused to move on despite repeated requests from BiB earlier and was not on his way home from work, but presumably, from his intoxicated state, the pub.

No judgements made, just an update for PHs.

Oh dear, there seems to be an attempt to justify the actions of the last BiB by reference to things which happened earlier. It shouldn't matter if he was a bit slow on his feet or had had a few drinks on the way from work. I can't just walk up to drunk people in the street and attack them; neither should this particular BiB have been allowed to do so.
