UKIP - The Future - Volume 2

I bet he's a nice bloke really.
I remember popping up on the other thread stating that ukip were a party BNP members can be seen to vote for.
I worded it wrong. I remember how much column space and airtime Nick Griffin and the BNP got in 2005 (?). It was like a little uprising in which I noticed the "everyday man" could say he was voting BNP. It was a crap time. I noticed the country was a little less tolerant in general.
The BNP have faded away and now it seems that man on the street is now voting ukip.
That's my view. I know certain people will pop up and give me tons of statistics and that the EU discriminates against anyone outside of it , and ukip don't take on BNP/EDL members as policy and all that, but I would MUCH rather another party won and gave the people the referendum they crave.
The stty thing is, I thought I was the "man on the street". There's people don't think I should be though.
My missus showed me a Facebook page called Britain First. Full of interesting views from the man on the street.
Also, i saw a shot of him down in the south west when the floods hit, and him standing there in waders up to his waist in it. Not sure the point he tried to make with it but it looked like a cheap "one up" to me
These are my views from my world. I'd rather conservatives, and gave us a referendum. Just so ukip can fade away like the BNP did.

I donated again to UKIP today. Every little helps!
Surely that's a bit of a wasted donation, no?.... UKIP have never ever kept a deposit in Scotland, and from what I gather - they aren't planning on anywhere near the same level of campaigning in Scotland as they have in the past, in the event of a yes vote. You may have well as given the money to the Tories in Scotland, they may at least keep their deposits, but I doubt if they will gain any extra seats. I'm not for one moment suggesting that there should be no right wing political parties in Scotland, only that the majority of the Scottish populace don't ever seem to want to give them the time of day, let alone seats in Parliament. My problem with UKIP is that only 2 years ago, the party was entertaining the possibility of other extreme far right groups such as BNP, EDL etc etc to come and join the UKIP fold. Now a short two years later, UKIP have announced that they no longer accept those who previously held such extremist links. My question is - how can a political party complete such a total and utter about turn over what views are acceptable and those which are not and remain with any remnants of credibility with the electorate in this country?

No idea where to even start a riposte to this. It seems you have decided without any real logic whatsoever that UKIP/Farage must be bad because they are not part of the current Westminster triumverate of power. UKIP have ZERO policies based upon race/ethnicity. The supposed parallels you draw with the BNP are utterly stupid. Supporting the Conservatives (or Lib/Lab) means you are effectively endorsing the current status quo where government is accountable not to the electorate, but to unelected bureaucrats, the MSM and big business. I'm not saying UKIP are perfect (far from), but they would be a step in the right direction toward a fairer society.

Farage is still Chairman of the EFD. Despite the ravings of far right members of the EFD such as Anders Brevik supporting Mario Borghezio who said "Long live the Whites of Europe, long live our identity, our ethnicity, our race… our blue sky, like the eyes of our women. Blue, in a people who want to stay white." Farage said UKIP would quit the EFD over the Brevik comments but they didn't.Some more background from 2013 - http://www.newstatesman.com/politics/2013/02/ukip-...

I didn't contribute much on the last thread as I'm not as deep into politics as some on here, and I take it as I make it all out.
I believe, as ukip have grown, they've smartened up as they've gone along.
Still, there plenty time to convince me I should be voting ukip. Doubt it but let's see

There is a huge void between being pro EU (and there for pro completely free movement of people) and being against all immigration (The stance of the BNP)DeanR32 said:

Damned if he does, damned if he doesnt. Im sure you would have been just as offended if he hadnt attended the flood hit areas, wouldnt you?DeanR32 said:

You mean, you are going to vote for a party that will have had the last 4 years to hold a refferendum to let the public choose, yet didnt, in the hope that perhaps, in the next 4 years, they will?DeanR32 said:

Ok I'll have a little bash at convincing you.Take a look at the alternatives.
Three parties who are all singing from the same hymn sheet regarding having us subjugated by brussels.
Three parties who are virtually indistinguishable.
Three parties who between them have F*cked over every man woman and child thats ever walked this land in the pursuit of self interest.
Three parties who have all had a go at the job and who all have royally F*cked it up.
Three parties whose entire 600 worth of are so totally self absorbed that the likes of you and me dont even register in their conciousness, save for voting time when theyre everything to everyone.
If their chauffer ran you over theyd probably yell at you for bleeding on the floor, for being in their way and holding them up for their taxpayer funded functions.
Ukip havent had an opportunity to make a mess of things nor of trying to make it right.
I believe we have a duty to put our foot right up the padded ar$es of the politcal class and the rotten establishment by getting them out! we deserve to be in charge of our own country no?
If people wont or dont use their god given freedom of thought to weigh up the options and simply stick with " dad voted for em" or because of some other programmed idiocy then they deserve more of the same never ending rape and pillage.
I happen to think the status quo has betrayed everyone its presided over, the political class arent our public servants, our representatives any longer, theyre our masters, cleggy showed it last night to those whose eyes were open.
I dont know about you but I dont fancy being told what to do by Tony B Liar, the president of the United States of Europa nor the rest oo his good little pigs in parliament.
Time to take a chance on a better future, theres nothing to fear from failing, the established parties have already shown us how well they can do that, anything else is bound to be a breath of fresh air.

Were they? And the word 'other'. Is UKiPs far right?I will look at who I want to vote for when the time comes. If I can't see a party I want to vote for, I just won't vote.
Damned if he does, yeah, I suppose. I'm not the mans biggest fan. The floods didn't affect me so him turning up is neither here nor there really. I could be wrong about the guy/party and it's voters. I don't think I am though.
I'll have a butchers at their manifesto when it's out. You just never know!!

Even if it wasnt for the Europe issue, i would still vote for UKIP.
Primerilly because they are fresh. Politics corrupts and a party that has never held a seat is one that is least tied to big businesses or wealthy individuals.
The main 3 parties have now each had a shot at governing and neither 3 have ran the country anywhere near as i, and many other i speak to would like to see it run.
I dont want the UK involved in toppling forign governments.
I am fed up of a building regulations that benifit those who already have a home.
I dont want all my food covered in health warnings.
I want a party which stands for everything the BBC is not.
Most importantly I am firm believer than climate change is solely naturally occuring.
I am fed up of every thing being "energy saving" or "for the planet".
UKIP are the only climate skeptic party, and that reason alone (even if there was no EU issue) i would still vote for them!
I simply want less government involvement in stuff that they dont need to be involved in.
