Interesting testimony from Cohen on hiring Redfinch, because of a CNBC Poll about the most famous businessman "in like the last century"
trump was polling at the bottom and wanted to be number 1, so Redfinch were hired to raise trump into the top 10, so it was believable - fixing the results to stroke trumps ego
CNBC cancelled to poll because it was rigged, so trump didn't pay Redfinch the $50k, despite getting him to number 9. trump stiffed his contractors again.
Unfortunately, it's now sounding like Cohen stiffed Trump Org over this matter, placating Redfinch with $20k and then claiming (and receiving) the $50k that was originally billed.trump was polling at the bottom and wanted to be number 1, so Redfinch were hired to raise trump into the top 10, so it was believable - fixing the results to stroke trumps ego

This could hurt Cohen's credibility with the jury quite profoundly.
He testified trump didn't want to pay them, admitted he stole the money because trump stiffed him on his bonus, and that he discussed this with both federal and state prosecutors. Learnt from the best?
Remember Rick Gates stole $3M from Manafort had a maga member on the jury, yet Manafort was still convicted, before Barr stepped in to interfere, then trump pardoned him

Whilst the media may concentrate on the more salacious details, if you follow the trial, you'll see the prosecution have built a pretty solid case proving their charges, backed by trump org documentation, and all the corroborating witness testimony, of which there was lots. Multiple people all saying the same, not just cohen.
It was known he was dishonest before the trial, he went to jail to protect trump and had admitted beforehand of lying to protect trump. It's hardly the revelation you claim and was all addressed under redirect yesterday. Lets face it, he'd been trumps lawyer and enforcer for years.
Hence the defence arguing against admitting new evidence to prove Cohen wasn't lying. Prosecution has a photo that shows on 24 Oct trump was with Schiller just minutes before the call Cohen said he had with both of them. Defence claimed Cohen was lying about that because Schiiler wasn't with trump that day.
The photo shows trump and Schiller walking off the stage at a campaign rally at 7:57 p.m., five minutes before the 8:02 p.m. phone call in question. Remember we've already had all the call logs, the times of the calls, the length.
You know this is hugely relevant because Blanche was arguing the photo isn't relevant, hadn't been submitted correctly, but it's huge and corroborates Cohens testimony about the call, how he called Schiller who put trump on the phone, as is trumps way.
The attack on Cohens credibility was all they had, to try to dish the dirt on Cohen, and of course trump demanded it because he loves retribution against those he thinks wronged him.
Why at this late stage have the defence now tried to plea it down to a misdemeanor to stop trump at risk from going to jail for the rest of his life? Max sentence is 4 years per charge...

trumps shared a video on his TS account which included references to a “unified Reich” among hypothetical news headlines if he wins the election in November.

Since we're on about trial witnesses, the defence witness Costello brought in to further attack Cohen didn't help much.
More on the court being cleared
The judge told Robert Costello he was acting contemptuously and threatened to strike his testimony and remove him from the stand. Costello tried to say something. “No,” the judge said. “This is not a conversation.”
Cohen kept his cool all week, Costello blew it within minutes. The only saving grace for the defence is the judge cleared the room so the jury didn't see his comments to Costello, but they will infer from the actions
Edit:
trump had a massive rant about it to reporters afterwards, before again reading quotes from people saying he's innocent, a regular thing now.

Blance again yesterday asked for a motion to motion to dismiss the case against trump, based on three main points linked to a lack of evidence and what he called Cohen's lack of credibility. It's almost a daily request now.
Blanche claimed there was no evidence the business records in question were false whilst claiming Cohen did provide legal services as the records say.
Then Blanche claimed there was no evidence of intent to defraud in the filings and finally, that there was no evidence that the arrangement raised campaign finance law, violation concerns, thus no evidence of a cover-up.

As the prosecution said in response, it's not just about Cohen, they have all the other witnesses and the documentation that prove the case.
Judge Merchan will make the decision today at 9:30

trump may be raising cash but his legal bills are costing.
trump’s leadership PAC, Save America, spent $3.3 million on legal fees in April and ended the month with about $1.1 million in outstanding legal bills.
Claims Biden has $192m in the bank, following a massive ad spend, and staffing 150 offices and more than 500 staffers across key battleground state.
trump has $49m in the bank, has yet to spend on staffing offices etc. He did outraise Biden last month due to concentrating on fundraisers

Remember this comes from Ivanka's 1990 divorce deposition so I’m not sure how successful this will be.
'trump was furious that a scalp reduction operation he’d undergone to eliminate a bald spot had been unexpectedly painful. Ivana had recommended the plastic surgeon. In retaliation, trump yanked out a handful of his wife’s hair, and then forced himself on her sexually. Afterward, according to the book, she spent the night locked in a bedroom, crying...'

With trump it's never about the sex, it's always about his perceived power over women, trying to compensate for his mummy issues, how his mother dominated him.
trump’s Social Media Company Posts Q1 Revenue of $770,500 and Net Loss of $327.6 Million
The company recorded $311 million in non-cash expenses arising from the conversion of promissory notes, and the associated elimination of prior liabilities, immediately before the closing of TMTG’s merger with DWAC.
Also an operating loss in Q1 of $12.1 million

The word 'also' in that sentence could be interpreted two ways - I wonder which one she meant.....Plus, people in glass houses... Her son is currently charged with 22 theft related crimes, claims he can't afford a lawyer...
