And if it never gets better, we can rest assured it's not because it was a stupid thing to do, our government was just useless.
Brexit was a stupid thing to do.AND
Our government is much more useless than usual.
The last 14 years have been a collosal failure. The Brexit centrepiece stands out as a disaster. Try finding something that they can claim was a success to compensate.

We were so dependent on EU membership that no UK government could ever cope without it? The country cannot prosper without it?That's an interesting predicament which surely calls into question the necessity of UK govt, no? amongst other much deeper questions

Many and often.
Absolutely no downsides, etc.
Even get laughed at for "fictioncasts" etc.

One of my reasons for voting for Brexit, hopefully a better civil service and government overall that will actually do their job rather than blaming the EU for all their own failures.
I accept that it will take time to undo over 20 years of mediocrity.
Do you have any good reasons for voting for Brexit?I accept that it will take time to undo over 20 years of mediocrity.
1. Should we try and reverse the stupid decision now that it is clear that it was a stupid idea.
2. Continue with a stupid idea, because we are impervious to reason.

So why are you still living in the UK? Serious question, seeing as you don’t seem to like anything to your liking.AND

Did the EU haters all bugger off when the UK was part of the EU?

How is that a relevant comment.
Why did you live in the UK whilst it was part of the EU and you were desparate to leave?
As others have said our politicians haven’t so far made the best of Brexit.

I wasn’t desperate to leave the EU. I had a postal vote and was very undecided but finally voted leave.

Maybe if you were "very undecided" it would have been better for everyone if you didn't vote.As others have said our politicians haven’t so far made the best of Brexit.

I was undecided at the time but certain now that leaving was the best thing to do.
Why?What's happened in the last 7 or 8 years that leads you to form that opinion?

Our parliament and courts should be overruled by the EU.

As I said previously I voted for membership of the Common Market and would do so again. The EU is becoming all too powerful seemingly wanting to create a United States of Europe.
Our parliament and courts should be overruled by the EU.
Don't you mean should NOT be overruled? Our parliament and courts should be overruled by the EU.
