Kidnap victims in Somalia; who would have "thunk" it? Gives one the impression the place is not safe.

Caught that in the news last night, shaem our politicians on this side of the pond don't have the spine or resources to allow the SAS to get our hostages out.

Huge bow to the SF team that did it.

Its amazing that the yanks
a-did not crash
b- kill the hostages,
c -have a camera crew with them.
Still think the russians have the right idea.

I think the yanks would have launched the Op as soon as they got a fix on the location anyway to be honest. They don't pussy about like we do.

They did an excellent job and their bravery is without question.

But...on the night of Obama's State of the Union address. What an amazing coincidence.

Like they did with the Iranian hostages after 444 days?

I don't wish to take anything away from the brave soldiers involved, but the timing of these things seem to always be political diversions for Obama.

Are the others locations known? Not good steaming around looking for them.

IIRC, Seal Team Six (in it's current form) was set up in the aftermath of the Iranian hostage debacle, many lessons were learnt from that event.

The guy on the right looks like the guy who killed Dr Richard Kimble's wife.

They did get'em all out. Stop talking about how the SAS would get them out and make your politicians send them. There is bound to be some hostages held somewhere. Am I being harsh? If so, I am sorry. smile
