Queen dead?

I've seen it in a couple of different places this evening, once on here, that the Queen has died but it's not being reported till tomorrow.

I'm sceptical but apparently BBC sent out the tweet then deleted it.

So what do you think? Hoax or will we find out tomorrow?

I doubt it. Her mum lived till over the age of 100 and lived almost entirely on gin martinis.

If the Queen had died then we'd know about it through the usual outlets, it's not a giant lizard induced conspiracy we live in, whereby the BBC know about it, tweeted it, I mean really? And then deleted the tweet under a D notice.

It's a common hoax generally, given how old she is.

Saying that, when she flew in the chopper. We couldn't see her, she's not been seen in public, nor has Prince Philip and tbh the rest of the family (bar Kate and William) are keeping a low profile which is odd given the time of year.

If she's not already died. She may be close.

I truly hope not. I plan on being on two weeks leave when she goes. My respectful indifference was met with such scorn when Diana died and I can only assume the pressure to conform when The Queen dies will be enormous.

A complicated national loss her death would be but I couldn't pretend to be personally moved at her passing.

No point in having an extra bank holiday for a few days. Coronation would be better in the summer too.
