The daft thing is that they've had to install lots of potable water fountains in the park as you cannot deprive visitors access to drinking water and then force them into buying refreshments.

It would have been much cheaper to give each person a bottle of water once through the turnstiles...
I suspect they will break down, or not work correctly...

i suggest that the audience for the 100 M final each buys a mcdonalds happy meal, takes it to the stadium and chucks it on the track, in protest.
Does that include the MP's that have been given the tickets for free (even thought they have vested intrests) Linky number 2

The Tory MP told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "I don't see any problem, actually, with people who have been sitting on an Olympic delivery inquiry going to the Games and watching how well they are delivered.

"I believe that people who have been working on the Games do have a preferential route in to get some tickets to go and see them - that seems reasonably right. I didn't take them up myself but I can't say that I'm massively exercised by my colleagues taking it up, no."

ffs.. again

Radio 4 this morning:

Workers have to put crisps in a clear plastic bag (unless part of the sponsors brand), and the kids in the opening ceremony have to wear non brand trainers or Adidas ones.
