Sad news coming through via Jonathan Agnew's Twitter feed a few minutes ago.
A gentleman who was quietly efficient in his work, very studious and knowledgable but with a great sense of humour too. Loved his cricket and the world of cricket loved him.
Succumbed to terminal cancer this morning aged just 67.
