Lately, well past the 10 Years since I have been interested in what goes on in the world I have seen much negativity towards the EUeespecially on PH.

I shall, make my position clear, I don't mind the EU, I think politicians like to play the blame game when their policies are not popular even though they agreed with what the EU wants to implement.

We can talk from influx of foreigners to abu hamza, tachograph s, Greece, Spain , farming and working hours.

Why do you dislike the single market idea?

EU, single market, 2 different things HTH
I know, in the abu hamza case you can add the court of fuman rights, however to most people it all can be summed up as the EU.

I don't think anyone dislikes the free trade area.

The problem is the extra layer of bureaucracy that goes with it.
Can we have some specific laws, even better laws that the UK government wouldn't implement if possible

Taking Greece as an example doesn't make you wonder how and why Greece can get away without taking the EU legislations to the letter yet we can't.

As I understand a EU directive allows for laws to be different in countries if the the result is the same.

Am I wrong here?

Immigration is out if control however I don't think my business would survive without my 3 eastern European cleaners.

Are you suggesting they are the only people capable of the job, and would be removed from the UK if we left the EU?

Yes and I'm not really sure about them being removed, it would probably sound good to 80,% of the population.

a whole ten years and you haven't figured out the difference between free trade and a fledgling federal european state run for the benefit and agrandisement of the political class
Like many people I would put that into a single word, The European Union. I know it's simplistic of me to think that but I can assure you there's loads of people like me. Especially the ones that read the Daily Mail

I would of thought that by now I would have had a few examples of why the EU is ruining our country.

Only 3 people in the world can work for you doing this particular type of cleaning?
Cleaning a small hotel, very important part of the business for me, don't even think I can remember seeing or getting job application from anyone English

We should keep OUR money & spend it on OUR country. Giving to idiots in brussels to waste & hand out to the undeserving before handing us back a tiny bit of it isn't a good plan.
I think your giving governments too much credit

Well this is the point of the thread I think. Our government being incompetent and just blaming the EU whenever it suits them? Possibly
